I really don’t think he was serious. He does have severe developmental disabilities that make him say things that he can’t fully comprehend. I did tell his mom (my sister). She made him apologize to me, which was really all she could do. This honestly didn’t scare me. It just concerned me.

My 7-year-old nephew threatened to kill me today. I didn’t take it seriously, though. I honestly don’t know how I took it, other than completely flabbergasted.

Mac & cheese, corn & English peas. And a bottle of Not Your Father’s Root Beer (my new favorite alcoholic beverage).

This will be the first Thanksgiving that people are coming to my house instead of me going to theirs. I’m not sure how I feel about that.

Thanksgiving is probably going to be hell. But the food’s still worth it.

I just had a very interesting dinner. I ordered some butter chicken and some chicken samosas from the local Indian restaurant. I get a notification that my food has arrived, but it’s nowhere to be seen. I report it to DoorDash & they issue a refund. Then, I find my food…..on my neighbor’s porch. There’s no option to cancel the refund, though. Moral of the story? I just got an amazing $30 meal absolutely free because of someone else’s mistake, and my conscience is crystal clear. EDIT: Oh, the Not Your Father’s Root Beer was pretty great, too.

I’ve been drinking a lot of root beer lately. As a matter of fact, I just got some alcoholic root beer today. EDIT: But I will flip this around and say that regular beer is fucking nasty.
