  1. You think they're prescription or just sunglasses? I'm pretty sure he's taken them off for at least a moment or two, but maybe I'm misremembering.
  2. Now they air the correct Mash promo. Oh boy, can't wait to see how he's gonna get out of that situation.
  3. Dad at least was a decent guy, and who knows if his son hadn't kept acting like such a little douchebag his hope to live a normal life among the people might have worked out.
  4. LOL Yeah. They can try all they want, but nothing they show me is gonna make me feel sorry for Doflamingo.
  5. LMAO He made a throne. My God!
  6. Divine Visionary? What the heck is this guy doing there. LOL Love defected.
  7. I had stuff cooking on the stove. <---- My excuse. LOL Nyaaaaa, what's up Dot?
  8. When you got right-wing billionaires taking over media organizations and twisting their coverage like this, who needs to actually cheat. A lot easier to just buy up all the microphones so people only hear what they want us to hear. This is the real danger to me and the last true line of defense. When they start going full force after journalists and trying to shut down what's left of the free press, it's over.
  9. Back to Doom Patrol, I'm just about done with season 2, and wow. I didn't think it was possible for the show to get any more insane, but I clearly had no damn clue.
  10. Eh, I don't really buy it. I'm sure they tried all sorts of shenanigans, but I can't believe they actually got away with tossing out enough votes to swing anything without anyone catching on before now. Either way, what does it matter now? As pleasant as it would be to live in denial, it's just engaging in a form of pointless escapism from the unfortunate reality we find ourselves in now. I find it a lot more believable people were simply swayed by the massive misinformation campaign they waged anyway, as I'm a firm believer in the endless stupidity of the human race.
  11. For a small plane, it sure made one huge fireball. It went down only like around 30 seconds after taking off, so it had a full load of fuel aboard. That and it went down at a pretty steep angle and at high speed with its engines still going, so seems it wasn't any type of engine failure but some type of catastrophic loss of control that may have led to it going down.
  12. Of course he did. You just knew he couldn't let a horrific tragedy that should be a unifying moment for the country go by without trying to inject his usual brand of bullshit, racist, conspiratorial, toxic, finger-pointing nonsense into it. I mean, you hope just one damn time some depth would be even too low for someone like him to stoop to, but if there is one consistent thing about him it's that he never fails to limbo beneath the bar of our most base expectations. Anyway, just saw there were a bunch of young figure skaters aboard the flight. Was watching Nancy Kerrigan and some other top figures in the sport talking about it. They were in tears. It's looking like they pretty much given up hope of there being any survivors. Damn.
  13. In a sane world, Caroline Kennedy's statement that she put out yesterday would be a death knell for him, but he's just gaslighting congress about all his anti-vaccine statements so far. Pretty clear he's just gonna pretend none of it ever happened or he was somehow misinterpreted over and over and over again. Sadly, that's probably all he really needs to do... is just give them enough of narrative so they can hide behind it while they hold their noses and vote him through, same as Hegseth.
  14. Watched Peacemaker, the Suicide Squad spin-off series. The characters act just so juvenile most of the time, it's ridiculous. It was pretty funny though. The opening dance sequence and song though... That's gonna be stuck in my head for at least a week.
  15. He's like a gremlin in a control room pushing all the buttons he can find right now, trying to figure out which are the ones that will make stuff go boom. I'm sure he's aware a number of these actions are gonna be short circuited by the courts, but I don't think he cares. He's just looking to push the boundaries of what people and the system will let him get away with. Even when he's stymied, it just desensitizes people and gets them used to or prepared for the idea of whatever norm he's trying to break being broken, until folks just stop caring and merely shrug when he finally destroys all the things the country used to stand for. Bunch of morons. Easy as it would be to put all this on him, gotta remember none of it would be possible without all the enablers who are too gutless to stand up to any of this nonstop torrent of insanity, which you just know if Biden or any other Democratic party president had done the same they'd all be screaming bloody damn murder about it while frantically pulling out and pointing to their little pocket Constitutions. Funny now, instead all we hear is just crickets.
  16. Musk tells far-right Germany party "past guilt" gets too much focus The latest: Musk spoke virtually to cheering members of AfD while denouncing multiculturism and defending Germany's past. "There is too much focus on past guilt, and we need to move beyond that," Musk said. "Children should not be guilty of the sins of their parents, let alone their great-grandparents." "It's good to be proud of German culture, German values, and not to lose that in some sort of multiculturalism that dilutes everything." Reality check: Neo-Nazi and skinhead leaders often tell followers at rallies not to be shamed of their grandparents or parents who were members of the Nazi Party before and during World War II. They've also criticized growing multiculturalism in Germany. He's not even trying to pretend anymore. Just a week after the whole Nazi salute thing, too.
  17. Yep, look can't wait to see what happens when folks see the price of their half-caf triple shot extra foam caramel macchiato with oat milk heated to precisely 140 degrees, with the caramel drizzle under the foam (very important), shoots up in price. Messin with people's caffeine fix is never a good idea. I think he just sees it as a really showy weapon, and one of the only ones besides the pardon power that he can wield without any restriction or need for congressional approval. He's just an insecure bully looking for look for the biggest, flashiest stick he can find to wave around and threaten folks with.
  18. Good to see, hope all the Central and South American countries band together to block him any which way they can. He wants to play rough, so should they.
  19. Yep, given Vegeta's pride, that had to be ridiculously hard for him to beg Goku like that. Shows just how much he hates Frieza for what he did to their people.
  20. Kakarot. A Saiyan name. And one you won't ever forget Frieza.
  21. Close. Switch it around, and you got it. But yeah, that was pretty messed up too from what little I can remember of it. Didn't make me cry rivers like Nobody's Boy Remi did though.
  22. Time for the main man to throw is hat in the ring at last.
