I did nothing for which I regret anything.
  3. I don't believe that is happening, given the information I have at present. And I don't want to call the funeral home anymore unprompted because it starts to seem obsessive and like I'm heckling them. They offered to pass my name and number along to his sisters, which I appreciated, but I doubt I'll be hearing more about the issue, as he hasn't been on good terms with his siblings since he was 20ish. If someone who knew him better would like to write an obituary I am fine with that, and I would be willing to submit it to the local newspapers. Someone perhaps who was linked to him on Facebook who could get in touch with his wellness contact at his work. Or at least such a person could serve as a better conduit of information.

To be fair I've never seen anyone go Super Saiyan from eating McDonalds ketchup packets.

    What happens after nightfall?
  10. I tried to broach this subject with them and they really didn't feel at liberty to discuss the matter further than to state it seemed unlikely that his sisters intended to hold a service, and I understand their position. I am very conflicted on the subject personally, but ultimately I don't think it's anyone's place to organize a service for him if it's against his surviving family's wishes. Even if that surviving family was not on good terms with him. But people are welcome to call on their own and attempt to inquire. Maybe one of you will have better luck sussing out more details.
  11. Actually just got a phone call again. The director talked to one of the sisters, and it sounds unlikely that there will be a service. Apparently, he had been estranged from his sisters for about 25 years. The director did offer to pass my name and number along to his sisters in the event that they want to contact anyone who is curious about their intentions. I'm told some classmates and friends of his had asked for the same. If anyone wants to call Weerts and ask them to be included I'm sure they wouldn't mind.
  12. One of his sisters talked to the Weerts director about their intentions yesterday. They're going to give me a call back and I will relay to you all what he tells me.
  13. Yea so the medical examiner is still trying to get in touch with his sisters. This is the website for the funeral home that is handling the pending arrangments. http://www.weertsfh.com/ It might be worth the while to anyone thinking about sending flowers or what not to periodically check the obituaries section, to see if he has been listed. Or to give them a call eventually if nothing is listed over the next week or so to see if they're still the funeral home of choice.
  14. They had not. I don't know what their intentions are in that regard. I can call back and ask about that specifically if people would like.
  15. So I talked to the funeral home director, and his next of kin are two sisters; one in Ohio, the other in Florida. They've been informed of his death, but haven't made any decisions concerning what they want the medical examiner to do. The funeral home director said they hadn't seen each other in a number of years.
  16. I called the funeral home and they're going to have the director get in contact with me concerning the details of his arrangements. I will keep yall posted.
  17. Yea the notice says Weerts in Davenport but I'll list the date when I see it.
  18. I'm going to try to attend his visitation. Since I'm really close to where he lived if I can be helpful in organizing in some manner feel free to ask.
  19. He lived in Bettendorf? That's like half an hour from me. Holy shit, no wonder I was always getting banned.

I was going to say that Zeni-induced stress absolutely had to be a contributing factor, but really like any white guy I'm wanting to blame the Mexicans for things I do as well.
