I'm going with Goku himself. Which mean that Future Trunks already gave him the antidote, so it should be okay. Goku will continue to live and learn how to drive a car with Piccolo.

I gave up on Tenchi after I hated the 3rd OVA, so no doubt I'll skip this one unless people say really good things about it. It sucks, too, since the OVA continuity was my favorite continuity in Tenchi.

I love Inuyasha, so I'm a bit excited for this, even though this is completely out of left field. I do admit that the premise seems a bit like fanfic, though. Though with Takahashi not writing it, I can just say it IS fanfic and not canon if I don't like it. Just like Eureka Seven AO. I really hope they don't have Sesshy paired up with Rin. It was bad enough in Usagi Drop and I couldn't bare to see it here.

I don't think I could do without buying them in some way. Streaming seems just so transient to me.

Makes sense to me. Home video in general is declining in favor of streaming so it would make sense anime would follow the same trend. It also helps that anime doesn't seem to have the same "closet otaku" stigma that it had years ago. It's still there, to be sure, but anime seems to be more recognized among people, or at the very least accepted

AGK is not high art by any means, but it wasn't a TERRIBLE series. It kept me entertained for it's entirety, even if it was just to see how edge it would become. There are objectively worse and better series out there, and I've definitely hated shows more than it. AGK is just kinda... there. It truly is the definition of Anime: The Anime. That being said, I didn't like it enough to want to buy it or watch it again, and I agree with the criticisms that was basically edgy for the sake of it, rather than for any real plot reasons. Honestly, after a certain point it started being comical how many "evil" or "horrifying" things it was throwing at us just to show how depressing their world is.

I think OPM is the kind of series that lends itself well to a live action adaptation, so if a movie is made for it I assume that it wouldn't do terribly. Though the question is whether they try and Americanize it or just keep it as is. Either way, I won't be watching.

I can agree with this. The first GITS movie definitely has a much different feel than series (SAC, at least), and I think I enjoy the way the movie feels over that of the series. I never really thought about it before, though.

When I make tacos, I usually make it with mushroom filling as opposed to ground beef or chicken. This is the recipe I use for that. I've done it quite a few times so I know it works. It's pretty simple, too, if you're like me and just use taco seasoning packets instead of seasoning it yourself: Mushroom Taco Filling Ingredients: -3 lbs washed whole mushrooms -Salt (for seasoning) -Pepper (for seasoning) -2 Taco seasoning packets -Flour (to thicken) 1. Dice washed mushrooms. 2. Sauteé mushrooms in a pan, occasionally stirring. Cook until the mushrooms become a light brown and shrink in size. 3. Drain approximately 1/2 of the water in the pan, and add salt, pepper, and two packets of taco seasoning. Mix thoroughly. 4. Allow to come to a simmer. Add flower as needed to thicken the mixture.

Interesting. The all CGI is a turn off for me, but it doesn't necessarily mean I won't try it.

I've never really watched Paranoia Agent, so maybe I should tune in for this. I've still been recording Toonami weekly but I haven't watched much of it at all since, like, 2018. Too many other things going on, unfortunately.

Pretty sure I heard somewhere that [as] is trying out some anime on weekdays , though this is basically the equivalent of running Inuyasha at 5:30 everyday like they did back in 2008. I don't particularly believe that anime is gonna get a full block on weekdays again, though it would be cool if it did. Also I've returned, so hi, everyone.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. I doubt Toonami will ever go far out of their comfort zone so as to air slice of life. If they did, though, I'd definitely watch. More than I'm currently watching, anyway.

God, I fucking wish. Whatever happened to DeMarco and his whole "anime other than action" on Toonami?

Has there not been any announcement of the new cast yet? I guess it still is kind of early, but for a property as big as EVA, I expected that Netflix was going to be hyping it up all they can.

Well fuck, this definitely took a bit of a turn! I can't reasonably say that I expected Vic to actually attempt legal action. I pretty much expected that he would quiet down for a while, go "find God" or something (or "refind God"? I dunno), then come back in a few years doing smaller roles. I expected that he would have a presence, but that it would be substantially reduced and never as great as it once was. Vic is finished. No matter how this turns out, Vic is never voice acting in anything of note again. I can't see public opinion being on his side at all regardless of the outcome.

RIP. Definitely a legend in the industry.

They'll probably get rid of that, too. I can see them either completely redesigning it, or replacing it something more "Americanized", or something.

I was hoping this was an April Fools Day joke when I saw it. Well, the best I can hope for now is that this doesn't happen, just like the 15 other times it was supposed to happen but didn't.

So I'm not the only one who's had dentist issues this week? My dentist forgot to shoot my mouth up with anesthetic before filling my cavities so I felt it every time the drill hit. Then she didn't even get to one and told me to come back to get it filled. So I'm now trying to find a new dentist.
