What's your source? I checked DirecTV this morning, and it simply has "To Be Announced" listed for both 8/29 and 9/5!

Not to mention parts 1-3 of a Golden Wind 3 parter being spread out over SIX WEEKS! Hey everybody, it's "social distancing," Toonami-style! What's really freaking weird is that DirecTV, the closest-allied cable company to Toonami, simply had "To Be Announced" listed for those timeslots, not only for 9/5, but for 8/29 as well! That's as of 7 AM this morning (WEDNESDAY 8/26)!!

It's highly unlikely that shitty site is even right, but, hey, if it is, all the better! Bring on more animated DC movies we only dreamed of seeing on Toonami years ago! 2020: the year dreams--and nightmares--come true!

It WAS edited all to hell back then from what I understand! Also, THIS was 5 years ago. SAO II slipped back under a million as the Mother's Rosario Arc kinda hit a lull following the epic sword fight showcased the previous week.

Believe it or not, Gotham Knight WAS actually considered a cable original, and it did pretty well but of course was hardly a match for the NBA and UFC: DID manage to beat AEW in 18-34 though! Average 481.5K, which beats last week.

True, but didn't we say the same thing about Black Clover, writing it off at first like a Blue Exorcist clone? And look how THAT turned out! I would definitely classify it as a "sleeper" hit! Don't sleep on Burn The Witch either...

Sadly, Kill la Kill's OVA never aired on Toonami. I saw it subtitled while I was still watching the show on Toonami so I kinda got spoiled on the ending (thanks Anime club), but I STILL to this day haven't seen it dubbed.

And then we've got the one-two punch of Laura and Marco making their way to Texas and Louisiana the middle of this week, possibly to merge into a super-hurricane... ...but hey, let's get back to InuYasha, right??

I guess we can hope maybe it replaces Fire Force Season 1's rerun at 2 AM...
