Well we'll see. Toonami needs 4 more episodes to make it to Labor Day, but I have my doubts Funimation can crank 'em out by then. As for Fire Force, I have my doubts that's gonna be on a consistent weekly basis either. As long as the pandemic rages, we'll just have to take these new episodes when we can. And Toonami will actually benefit from playing Fire Force a month later because it won't have to rely quite as heavily on reruns. And of course it goes without saying that Black Clover has already restarted again in Japan, because they don't suck as bad at controlling the coronavirus quite as badly as we do.

So that means at present, we run out of new Black Clovers on August 2nd. Interesting. It might get replaced by JoJo's return if Toonami just decides to continue with Season 2 of Ballmastrz.

Damn, STILL!? In July for a movie that came out in February!? Well, that's one thing that COVID-19 did that otherwise wouldn't have happened, though it seems to me with mask requirements and 25% seating capacity, movies COULD come back!

I must admit despite the crazy news updates from virtual cons put on by Anime Expo, Funimation, AND Aniplex, Toonami has done a pretty good job of keeping its future plans under wraps. Granted, it would seem it does so at it's own detriment, because it could really use a Fire Force or a JoJo right now.

Which episode? And how did it qualify for a "daytime" Emmy when it hasn't aired before 11:30!?

Well, thanks to the coronavirus wreaking absolute havoc in the United States, Dragon Ball Super is returning to Toonami, at midnight to 4 AM in a special expanded Toonami block this Saturday night, and then remaining at midnight until further notice. Discuss it here. Only Toonami!

First episode started out damn good, but then it got a little weird. Mochi would enjoy it!

That's sad. Maybe it will pick back up on an expanded Toonami at 3 AM or something? Then again, this ALMOST made it to where we went back on Season 3. At least All For One will air one more time on Friday.
