  1. and how long did you own it?
  2. got one, thx. i'm sure it's not as glamorous and carefree as being a bedroom dj/message board babysitter, but then again i'm not 16 anymore so i'm good.
  3. your high road requires weed? so, so basic. smh.
  4. to be fair, i can't imagine viper knows what a high road would even look like, so i guess you got me there.
  5. i meant predict but i suppose predicate works there as well. edit: then you changed "predicate" to "predate" and now i don't agree.
  6. that you're being a hypocrite? i mean, i don't give shits on these problems. i just like pointing them out.
  7. ass kissing and being useless tend to go hand-in-hand. but this is like a chicken/egg thing. which one predicts the other?
  8. that sounds just like high road mentality.
  9. that's odd. i took 4 years in college and graduated with $0 debt. i don't wear a necktie to work at my IT job, and i get paid quite a bit more than $9/hr. oh, and my health insurance premium is 100% picked up by my employer. so there's actually more options than to work either as a low-income janitor OR as a mythical bean-counter in a basement office. not that you have time to pursue any of those options, but anyways.
  10. so you got <$2k/acre? ouch. untillable land that the gov't considers "wasteland" for taxation purposes brings well over $5k/acre around here, in the middle of bumfuck. even the 1/6 acre lot my old house sits on is valued at $6k alone, and that's cheap.
  11. so two vacant lots.
  12. and then you wrote the check to pay off the loan against the land, and you were back down to $37.93. btw, what kind of land sale nets you a measly $37k? a vacant lot?
  13. maybe i don't know the demographics out there, but i'd assume $28k in atlantic city is playing on the edge of the poverty line. i mean, maybe i'd be proud of that too if i was a 60yo janitor. but then again, i'd probably be proud of a lot of shitty things if i were a 60yo janitor.
  14. exactly. you've taken data that you don't understand, from sources more intelligent than you, and interpreted it in a way that makes absolutely no sense. and you think you've got a big fat pension coming your way, on $28k a year. amazing. simply amazing.
  15. ...slam on nba jam? so the meme is moving into gif territory now? this is aging faster than i had anticipated.
  16. after reading this, i'm pretty sure you have no clue how the pension system works there either.
  17. right, pension. take your $800/mo "retirement benefit" and climb up onto that throne of accomplishment that is mastering trash bags and dustpans over 40 years. a $400 atm receipt. christ almighty. the real byline for your thread should have been "i've never seen an atm receipt for that much money."
  18. like i said, ssdi. i'm so not-surprised you're proud of that outcome.
  19. nah. he'll weasel his way into an ssdi deal for crippling depression in a couple years, and ride that wave of hot free cash well into his 80's.
  20. you don't wanna play this game, old man. you're running the carpet sweeper around the nugget's $4.99 buffet hall at age 57. i'm pretty sure even zeni has you beat with those numbers.
  21. i'm tryna get u to stfu noob.
  22. shut up child.
  23. yes, it's that simple. at least, that's what you gleaned from that discarded copy of the last shareholder's meeting bullet point flier. shit, who even needs to go to college? we can just eavesdrop on the conversations of far more intelligent people, then plagarize their knowledge as our own. we don't really understand how or why it works. we only need to know that it works. and this is why we run things, instead of cleaning shitters and scraping bubblicious off the underside of the "hee-haw" slots.
  24. lol, the recipe for financial success, as told by the golden nugget's most qualified sanitation expert.
  25. a bullshit stat, that's what.
