The first game was hyped an insane amount, but it was still good and pretty well made. That said though the worst thing to happen to Naughty Dog was losing Amy Hennig, her being the one that wrote and directed Uncharted 1-3, as well as TLOU 1. Supposedly she did Uncharted 4 but Druckmann chased her off, rewriting the 4th game completely despite the fact it was just about finished, the game tanking so hard in reviews in reception, him also removing Fat Drake cause it was offensive. the dude destroyed what could have made for a well made game franchise with TLOU 2. The leaks are spot on, it's so very bad. Sony's spending big bucks on paying off the big review sites, so I wouldn't trust any review from someone that was granted an reviewers copy of the game, trust in those that had to go out and buy their own copy. Also when it comes to reviews there's very specific sections of the game they're allowed to show or talk about, only a couple hours out of a 25 hour game, the entire second half they're not allowed to show or even talk about, which again confirms everything. Says a lot when Troy Baker has to do damage control months before the game came out because of the leaks, him later saying he doesn't think anyone going into the game will like the choices they made, them specifically making those choices because they didn't want anyone to like them.

Yesterday after close to 3 years I made the final payment on my car, was $340, so now I completely own it with no more payments going forward... at least til next year when I'll likely use it as a trade in with the dealership I got it from to get a nicer car.

The Japanese are pretty quick when it comes to cranking out anime, but for another 26 episode season I'd imagine you're still looking at a solid 6 months to a year of work, they're likely going full swing in production (assuming the Corona hasn't completely halted things) I don't know at what point during production they do the voice over but I think it's near the final steps, so realistically I'd imagine there's several more months before they'll start recording.

I heard with simuldubs those are produced entirely within 2 weeks after aired in Japan, so anything they receive is within that span.

More of a PC person, but for sake of argument, PS4. 1. Persona 5 Royal 2. Nier Automata 3. Cyberpunk 2077 if it turns out to be as legit as it's hyped to be. 4. Red Dead Redemption 2 5. I guess Horizon Zero Dawn or the upcoming one.

Pretty sure the current season has finished airing in Japan, and the Japanese recording sessions should have ended some months back. Unless what they're getting at is that the release of the next season will be held back because of it.

Just made a post on your first thread before seeing this one here. Am sorry to hear that, it wasn't something you had to go to school for in order to do was it? Back in the 00's my mom went to school for two years to work in a hospital, followed by some time spent as an unpaid intern, and when she finally got hired to work at a hospital she was told she didn't have the right degree they wanted so they fired her, not even a month after hiring her.

Honestly I've always been nervous about talking online to people I don't know in person, more so because I overthink about how my voice sounds. I've asked many folks around me how does my voice sound and they say it's normal or fine or whatever, but when I hear my voice it sounds too weird, though supposedly that's normal since people typically aren't used to hearing their voice outside of them talking.

What all will the work environment be like? Will you be working from home, using your own computer or whatever, or will you be working in an office? The only suggestion I have is if you are working from home, and with your own computer, perhaps you could say your webcam broke or you don't have one? That wouldn't be a long term solution, but it might be enough to buy you a week or two to get used to talking to them online, which could make it a bit easier when you eventually do have to use a webcam?

One thing for me is I'm usually a lucid dreamer to some degree, I dream most nights, I only remember a fraction of the dreams but I always know I had one, and whenever I am in one I usually know it's a dream. It's only a once in a long while thing where it's enough of a lucid dream to the point where I can do whatever I want. I also got really good at noping out of bad dreams since that time as a kid. Typically when something bad starts happening I nope out and wake up immediately. The one I mentioned above is one I always remember, and is more fresh on my mind since it got the remaster treatment sometime this last week.

Back when I was 7 I had this one dream where I was in my real dad's house, it being a pretty big house, a former duplex so it had effectively double everything. I was upstairs in one of the rooms, minding my own when something came from the shadows. I quickly went downstairs and both my mom's parents were sitting in the living room, things being silent and uneasy, them not moving at all and talking for quietly in a way that wasn't them. Then I was playing my game boy for awhile, looking to trade some Pokémon when the same thing from upstairs came in, I then ran down a hallway which was a dead end, me being cornered and watching as it was slowly walking my way. Can't describe what it looked like, but I had to gtfo like asap, I remember trying to move my arms but couldn't, I then tried moving my legs and was finally able to, me kicking the bottom of the top bunk in my room, me walking up. For a number of years after that I was able to move my arms and legs while I was asleep, me learning how to do that after that one dream. One time I woke up sitting on the side of my bed with feet on the floor, and once in a chair away from my bed. Stopped being able to do that after 5th grade.

Been thinking on getting a name change, I do like my current name but change might be needed. Maybe Lunatic Slayer
