Now if you decide to go more than a 2" budget boost lift... you might wake up some gremlins. But I mean my mom bought hers brand new in February of 2014 and traded it in, in March of 2020 with 180k and the issues I told you about were the issues it had... and driveshaft issues (because of the lift, had to convert to a universal joint style setup) and what was apparently common but didn't show up until 34" tires was inner front axle seals but those got swapped when she stepped up to a 4:56 gear. She even towed juuuuust over its rated limit and it honestly loved it... granted that limit was 2,000 pounds due to short wheelbase. The 4-door can tow 3500. And I have to include a pic because I like to brag about the thing I fucking "built" You know you want to lift yours.

Oh yeah, you'd have no problem replacing that rocker or that oil cooler. Youtube and forums are your friend for little tips and tricks too. Also I had forgotten about the casting sand thing XD but by now those issues would have reared their ugly heads. The JK's from 13-18 really don't have much else going on issue wise. I think another common thing is the HVAC control will blink at you for one minute after every startup, and it is the module inside of it for the rear window defrost for the hardtop that fails... even if the Jeep is originally a soft top. Leaks happen, usually it's from impatient or rushed use of the freedom panels or the soft top in general though. UHHHHHHHHHHHHH and wheel speed sensors. Usually the fronts go first, and you'll know it... ABS, TCS(ESP) and Check Engine will all light up and usually when you first pull away after a startup you'll feel one of the front brakes grab for a couple seconds. But those sensors are $25.... and a lot of involved labor to swap.

I would know

The only issues you should have is the oil cooler housing is prone to getting a crack and you'll know when it does because you'll have what looks like a severe rear main seal leak... and it's hit and miss but some of them have one rocker arm go bad, I forget which but it's the back passenger side of the engine. It'll tick... and eventually will wear the edges of the cam lobe if it's not taken care of. But both things are suuuper cheap, the labor makes it costly. I'm just glad you didn't get the 3.8

I came in here to say removed. Terminated also works.

Is it a 3.8 or a 3.6?

The only JK wheels I like are the grey/machined Rubicon wheels honestly, but the black Willys ones aren't bad either and would look good on that one. I rock them on my '98 Or, you could find a set of Willys/Rubicon JL wheels... they bolt right on. My mom gave my sister the set off of her 2020 last year and honestly it looks pretty good. Before it had the chrome 18" Sahara wheels like the first one you posted... and those with black fender flares looked so ugly lmao

Come to think of it, this looks like it has some sort of 2" lift... probably budget boost. Those wheels are supposed to be silver or chrome so the black would come off. But Rubi wheels are better Oh and I'd ditch the silver bumper caps too.

That color with grey/machined Rubicon wheels would be mint. But honestly I just like any JK with color matched flares. It's just hard for me to like black wheels... they show dirt too easily. This is also why I use Rain-X on the white wheels on my Mustang though lmao

Tan, but not with black wheels

I can still hear his voice when i look back on those old Tinychat days.

Yeah but have you seen stock KL Trailhawk's perform off-road? They can hold their own pretty well. It's actually impressive. Some day someone will develop some dropped control arms and stuff to really allow at least a 4" lift. I can see it being possible, but i can't see anything more than that being possible without a *lot* of driveline changes needed. They do look pretty nice lifted though, especially the facelifted ones.

I'm flipping through channels in the camper.

All my camper has is internet. I just stream shit or steal my folks' Sling account -
Next time just park it about 6" over the curb. It's a Jeep, after all. (also my phone camera was apparently foggy when I took this)

Wow what a shame this post is so long, or I would have taken the time to read it.

Oh god this was years ago now... some shitty place built in the 60s on the side of a steep ass hill I think on the western outskirts. And I know it isn't. But it was the same pay for half the drive and fuck doing snow removal on those hills.
-
I almost took a job in Reading but it was so shitty and full of rednecks that I decided to work in Coatesville instead.
-
Western. Fuck you. I got my directions mixed up.
