Ho-Oh without Solar Beam should be doable with 5 30+ trainers or so, more will be needed if Solar Beam is involved. I think Potions are more common from gyms than stops now, raids give Hyper Potions more often now

it was a solar beam one, there were six of us and we killed less than a third of it before we realized it was futile and agreed not to jump in with fresh teams

Gotta load up on Raikou and Zapdos in the case of SBeam, but so far I've avoided fighting one lol

 

Thankfully w the map over here we know ahead of time what the moves are. All of my own Ho-Ohs so far have Fire Blast lol

Yeah potions are mostly a raid thing now and also a gym disc thing

Lovin it, and I'm guessing they let you know which Pokemon perform better in what weather, that's what it looks like, I dunno I don't read w/e language that was

I don't always use the map for raids but I know the Ho Oh will most likely have S-beam if it inserts my dragonites

Game also likes to throw my poor weak Kabutops and Omastar in there too

I had a thought that the way they should balance it is if a player catches Mewtwo they should be locked out from getting more passes for that gym for a while, to let others get a shot. To me it seems fair. Dunno if I can expect more passes since players often seem to get more once they've gotten one.

Yeah they should do that cuz once you get an EX raid pass from a certain location, EX raids will happen there frequently.

I know this cuz where I am it seems to be the case, we finally got a Sprint gym out here and a buddy of mine got her first EX raid pass on X-mas.

I don't have one yet.  I will eventually, just a matter of time

did they change how you get raid passes? i blew mine and then the gym didn't give me another

Was that the day's pass? Distribution hasn't changed, one fre pass per day, as soon as you use it the next day you get the new pass either by backing out and into a lobby or spinning a gym

 

Aggron is T4 raid boss, Aron Lairon and Aggron can be shiny

 

Next community day is Feb 24, features Dratini and 3x catch dust

I had the pass for months because i stopped doing the raids (lost motivation for interacting with strangers, plus it got cold), and then the other day i thought I could solo a level three alakazam (I couldn't) but never got a free pass again after spinning gyms.

I got a lot of crappy shiny dratini on community day, still made the shiny family though, cuz why the hell not

evolved a couple of high IV drats and got them Draco Meteor

 

Still no mewtwo invite and my favorite raid spot is an ex raid location, of course I didn't get a pass and now I have to wait until the 9th for raids to resume
