The jets played like dildos but the refs seem to miss everything that can benefit them. One of the RBs was grabbed by the face mask, they never called it. It's worse than that.  Supposedly, it was a box truck driver in a loading dock area that got jumped by Mark, who has no recollection of what happened after touching the window, including who stabbed him.  Blacking out from intoxication is part of it, but it doesn't explain the confusion.

Blacking out explains the confusion 100% could he also have taken something else? Sure but absolutely alcohol drunk to excess can lead to memory loss and confusion

No it isn’t. Stop making excuses for him simply because he’s not known for this behavior. He drank too much and got really stupid in a blackout. It doesn’t matter that he’s never done this before. Maybe the “underlying issue” is he’s an alcoholic? 
 

he probably blew his career up because of this incident. He’ll apologize profusely.
