Oh sweet, according to the Wiki, Tensai Okamura storyboarded ep 2. Director of Kikaider, Wolf's Rain, Darker Than Black, Blue Exorcist, Seven Deadly Sins S1. Hopefully some nice visuals again this week.

I slept way longer than I expected haha.  Watching what I missed now.

Yeah how COULD a drug "mutate" after 3 years haha.

Unless this drug was like Tylenol there's no way that many people would've used it. And then they definitely couldn't get high off it.

Hey, don't scare the kitty!

So this is like anime Suicide Squad? I didn't know the other team members were criminals too.

Scanning vein patterns instead of fingerprints? I guess you couldn't fake that, but I don't think you can fake fingerprints either.

Well, we're getting an idea of the timeline at least.

I didn't know there was a money reward for the Nobel Prize.

Cool cars, at least.  I like the retro one.

Escaping prison as a hobby?!

So multiple mafia groups were after the owner of the doomsday shelter business. Of course both the business and shelter were dead ends lol.

Thousands of Skinners? Sigh lol. I doubt he could get a bunch of people to disguise themselves as him, so probably some sort of digital trick?

Despite the atrocious streaming situation, Lazarus did manage to make the top 10 on Max today…at #9.  Which is better than the Flop Girl did its entire run where it failed to make the list once.

Like with Sword Art Online, the villain's motive seems really clear. It annoys me that the heroes are so confused.

If they find him and put out the cure, the world will have had to unite in order to do so and will have been given new perspective on how survival is more important than gain.

If they fail to find him, the human race will be all but wiped out, saving the planet and other species from destruction for a few centuries at least.

Win-Win

I don’t think it’s gonna be that simple. We are already seeing that no one is working together, the feds are all operating independently and getting in each others way. The cast is right to be skeptical of the plan just being “beat me in hide and seek and I won’t kill billions”. As it stands, we don’t even have proof of life for Skinner.

Hopefully when we do get to the finish line and Axel asked what his real motivation was, we get something better than SAO’s iconic “idk lol”.
