Listening to recordings of 1930's radio broadcasts.  Did most people really sound so much different back then than people today, or was there just a limited pool of voice actors using the same accents and overtones in the majority of broadcasts?

I've been really getting into smoothies lately. I have concocted my own original recipe that is high in protein, fiber, potassium, probiotics, nitrates, and antioxidants, and the pH is controlled to not be acidic. It costs about 5 dollars to make for almost 40 ounces of liquid. Ordering it at a cafe would easily be over 20 dollars. Quite a meal replacement. I really go all in when the mood suits me.

I went out to the zoo today. The weather was very nice. The cafe was very hectic, but I found excellent seating outside. It was in the shade under a tree and about fifty feet from a giraffe. There was also a bird in the tree above me that did not move at all while I ate, but it shat a few times on the seat next to me.

If all tort lawyers were paid up front, like contractors, only the very rich would ever hire them.

As it turns out, any tort lawyer asking to be paid up front is probably just there to separate you from your money.  Why would he care about whether you win or lose your case if he alresdy has your money?  This is part of why contingency agreements are important.  The other part is providing access to the legal system for people of limited means.

New Jersey hasn't had a direct hit from a hurricane since 2012 and now, I'm getting very impatient.

I remember my old coworker, very conservative. She believed in much of the expected right wing shit but she did believe in climate change. One thing she brought up was the insect decline. Windshields used to be so dirty back in the day, even in the 90s, a time I was alive to remember. Boomers frequently mention the windshield phenomenon.

A local garage here in town also cleans taxicabs and prepares older cars for resale.  If you're looking to scrub off some bugs, try the radiators.
