scoobdog Posted Thursday at 06:26 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:26 PM One of the most fascinating subsegments of pre-wartime animation is the ones that used golden age movie stars and celebrities as characters. It's a uniquely American form of lampoon that blends the plastic buffoonery of animated (and often anthropomorphic) characters with recognizable faces.
