After forty five years in business at the same location, my chiropractor has received some interesting news.  Somebody is set to buy the building where his office is and does not want to operate it until after a huge renovation job is completed.

The chiropractor has decided to take all of his equipment home and treat his patients there.  He also said that he wants to treat certain patients on a house call basis.  I can meet him on that.  His house is five miles from the nearest bus stop.  I don't want him in my house because my couch or bed can not double as the chiropractic table that he uses.  So, the deal is that I ride to the bus stop and he will pick me up from there to his new home office.

That's what I call service.

Yeah but I can get to them my own goddamn self and not beg them to be my taxi driver.

I didn't have to beg anything.  He brought up the subject first and was offering to drive about twenty miles to see me at home.

Now I want to know what’s on Kenny’s bed.  Is he worried the chiropractor is going to adjust his face into a bloody cum stain?

A bed is not a chiropractic table and using it as such could cause further injury.

This is such an oddly specific scenario for you to champion being without a mode of transportation...almost like it's 🐂💩

No, it's just the sort of thing a guy who really cares about his customers would do, unlike any corporate owned business.

Or a Glock.  Or a clock.  Or a sock and some stock.  She wants to be an influencer but won't play the part and wash off all that makeup.

Funny how you don't outright deny the gock.

By the way, Chiropractors aren’t really doctors.  You’re wasting your money on that shit unless you get the happy ending.

I'm probably wasting money on Baclofen, too... but if it makes my back feel any better, fine.

Insurance covers it, so I didn't ask.

Normal people say they have no copay, but that's actually the only thing I wanted to know. My insurance wouldn't cover it for some stupid reason, but covers the stronger shit they replaced it with

Thanks for being weird but Inconsequentially so.

I never did have a med with a copay in a very long time.

Sounds like some socialist shenanigans bullshit.

Never IN a very long time.

Way, way back when I was working at Spencer's, there was copay for almost everything.

Context doesn’t fix bad grammar, and bad grammar is a sign of profound stupidity.

So, when somebody says, "never in the last ten years..." that's also bad grammar?

Tell me the difference.

BCBS wouldn't cover it with an HMO, unless I went to one my GP recommended, which had to be one in their group, 20 mi away.

However with their PPO, I get to go to my Chiropractor and there's no copay.  It's goofy.
