OwlChemist81
You might have missed that this was going down if you've been living under a rock. Seriously, they've been running commercials on the other WBD/Turner networks and even during Beavis and Butt-Head on Comedy Central! Commercials that look something like THIS... You heard 'em. Tonight at Midnight on plain ol' [as]. Don't want to wait until then? Check this out... Confused? You should be. Maybe tonight will make sense out of it? Or not...check it out anyway and find out! SURPRISE!! THIS IS NOW THE SUB DISCUSSION THREAD TOO!!
rpgamer
Well, to the surprise of no one, that was kinda terrible. But I guess that's expected when you try to force an extended story out of this.. However, it does raise one interesting idea to me.. I don't think this ever really needed to be a whole-ass series, but, I could definitely see them pulling an Adventure Time and occasionally having guest writers or animators or whatever. André Toulon
This shit was awful, the show should have died with JR. Now it going to be one nail after another in this coffin. Which I'm all too excited for. I think Story train is where I gave up on this show but just kept watching out of morbid curiosity. But this....nah, I don't even want to see next week's episode. I'll see it when YT shuffles it in with my 1967th DBZA run.
Jman
This seems to reinforce my belief that this show was not designed for an ongoing story and that the Adult Swim Stoner Series as a whole is incompatible with longer form, more complex storytelling. Granted we’re three years from having enough Space Ghost comics to make a proper anime that lets him be a serious character again (the comics four issues in are surprisingly good) but that’s really the only Adult Swim original that would benefit from a switch to serialization and upgraded animation.
PokeNirvash
Sounds like I'm not missing much by opting out of watching it. That's good to know.
OwlChemist81
I only got to see the 2nd half and I didn't hate it, but I wasn't all that thrilled by it. It certainly didn't deserve to steal midnight from Demon Slayer. If they kick up the action in future episodes, it could be decent.

Rick is a nice alcoholic in this, when he's an asshole alcoholic in the main series!

Top Gun
I've seen very little of R&M proper but I have no idea what the fuck I just watched. I can't even say if it was good or bad, it was just nearly impossible to follow.
DangerMouse
Feel like I still need to see a second one to get a handle on where it looks like they're going with their version of these alternate universes.
