Texans D isn’t even fun to watch Jets O is just so bad.  has nothing to do with Texans Defense by any stretch of the imagination. I wouldn’t be so bored if I was watching Defensive genius. Jets D yes but their O is also bad.

so basically we’re seeing one team play great defense and lord only knows about any other aspect of the ball. Muffed punt was the most exciting thing to happen

Can we both agree that we both lose no matter who ends up winning this game? xD

Oh, that could've been a penalty against us for a low hit on Zach Wilson. Guess the refs decided our guy was knocked into him? I don't even know anymore.

Seriously, the officiating in some of these games has been abysmal this season.

Exactly the refs decided an o lineman knocked him into Zach we don’t get calls like that unless it’s super obvious like earlier in the game when Zach was hit way after he threw the ball

I saw that, too. (And yes, that was definitely roughing the passer on Will Anderson, Jr.) To be honest, I don't think it's just our two respective teams. I think it's leaguewide. Of course, I'm only speaking for myself. I won't speak for anybody else.

By the way, I'm not blaming our impending loss on bad officiating. Y'all clearly outplayed us and deserve the win. Congratulations, pooh!

lol thanks. sorry about Stroud. When they took him into the locker room it was obvious he had a concussion. His eyes looked like a slot machine

Thank you. I mean I'm mad, but not mad, you know? I'm mad that it happened, but I'm not mad because it's part of the game. Plus, as much as I hate to say it, I wasn't expecting us to do a whole coming into this season so to see us in playoff contention coming into today's game was definitely a great feeling, especially despite all the injuries we've had. So...even if we don't win another game this season, I'm calling it a successful one due to my initial expecations being completely blown out of the water.

The nfl needs to cut the shit with this tush push love shove or whatever other dumb fuckin name they wanna give it. You shouldn’t be allowed to push a player for 5 yards. That’s ridiculous,  if the player with the ball can no longer move his feet under his own power, the play needs to be whistled dead and the ball spotted at that point.  Watch… when players start snapping ankles behind that play, watch how fast they disallow it. But only after several dozen bone snaps and brain slaps

@1pooh4u @Gemini I honestly don't know which one of you to ask "what the fuck happened here?"

Suddenly the jets offense became the best in football if you can believe it 😆

seriously I think the jets are playing like they got nothing to lose and they trusted Zach to play aggressively and accurately

lol I just read that Breece Hall was given a +$43k fine for a helmet to helmet that wasn’t his fault. Breece is the running back the player is running to tackle him. The defensive player was about to take Breece out at the knees he lowered his body to protect his knees. How dare they fine him for that.  I remember the play it was last week against Atlanta. There was no flag on the play. Only reason why I remember is because the smack of the helmet contacting another helmet was pretty hard to miss

I can see that it’s an off sides, but I kind of feel for the receiver.  It’s sometimes really hard to tell where you are on the field, without the benefit of an overhead shot, because there really aren’t many points of reference.

Receivers are allowed and encouraged to consult the line ref to find out if they’re set offsides. Toney is at fault for not clarifying.

Obviously they don’t have the benefit of lines made for tv viewers but aren’t there plenty of numbers and lines on the field? Even a down marker?  I feel like there are enough points of reference idk whatever he fucked up

I get that, and yes he is.

I also feel like the C is your point of reference.

Like Odin says, you're supposed to clarify with the DJ or LJ, the reason being that he or she can see all three points of the imaginary line - the receiver's toe, the ball, and the down marker on the far side.  The receiver theoretically can't accurately see his own point because he's standing over it, so his only two reference points is the ball and down marker.  I'm not really saying the guy couldn't have or shouldn't have known (or at least set a yard or so behind), just that he's getting dragged a little unfairly for not seeing something that would be obvious to someone behind him but not necessarily obvious to him.

Also note if you're Mahomes or Reid your choices at this point are "Get mad at the refs and then walk it back the next day" or "Feed Stephen A. Smith by saying our WR that keeps dropping passes also doesn't know where the hell to line up on the play."

One of the games in the playoffs is gonna be exclusive to peacock. I’m not getting another fuckin streaming service for that shit. I’m done. Amazon Prime TNF I didn’t mind cuz it comes w the prime membership and the games would play on the nfl network once the game ended on prime.  Only way I fuck w peacock is if I can use it without making an account and watch like that. Hate this greedy garbage w the nfl putting less and less games on network television in favor of streaming services
