Looking back I'm starting to believe that Saturday morning cartoons were just not that good in fact I would dare say kinda overrated once you take the nostalgia goggles off. Fox Kids, Disney Afternoons and later on Toonami. I know weekday cartoons were mostly action/adventure but you still had shows like Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Goof Troop. Also when I think about it SNICK on Nickelodeon was more enjoyable to watch on Saturdays than Saturday morning cartoons.

Dude, you're just too young. I watched Birdman before he had a law degree, Space Ghost before he had a talk show, and Sea Lab when it was only 2020. Once upon a time, Saturday mornings were fire.

Saturday morning cartoons were better in the age before there were prime time cartoons.

I think the only Saturday morning cartoon I was into was Garfield and Friends, which was one of my favorites. Other than that lone exception, I echo your sentiments.

My advice to all...

When it comes down to a choice between a big income and a steady, predictable income, ALWAYS pick the steady one.  Picking the big one comes with a strong risk of losing it.  Replacing it is a nightmare.

I can’t really say anything. It’s my thread and I’ve gotten the assignment wrong at least a few times.
