I smell pizza….

Recommended Posts

What's your favorite kind of pizza?

Personally, I'm lover of the traditional cheese and pepperoni, but fell for chicken with garlic pizza, and funny enough, BBQ chicken and breaded chicken pizza.

Truth be told, I'd try almost any kind of pizza.

Oh right the smell, actually had an ex that worked at a pizza shop, it wasn't nearly as awesome as I thought it would be, the smell was bad. Had a girl that worked at Dunkin' Donuts later on and she always smelled bangin'

I'll try almost any pizza as well, but I WILL NOT eat pizza that has any kind of blue cheese on it. That's where I draw the line.

My favorite is the traditional cheese and pepperoni, though I've also been known to throw on some mushrooms and olives, perferably a mix of black and salad olives. Sadly, not a lot of places do this so I make due with the black olives.

Hawaiian pizza, well, HAS to be from a certain place. Otherwise, I won't eat it. (I'm usually not picky about pizza, but I am about Hawaiian.) As for Supreme, well, I love it, but it's one of those foods I have to be in the mood for in order for me to enjoy it. Otherwise, it's a hard pass.

I suddenly want some pizza and I don't have any money to go buy some. xD

Wish I could help, man.

And @LoverDemon, I don’t know if I have a particular favorite pizza. My favorite toppings would be pepperoni, sausage, black olives, mushrooms,  onions and extra cheese. Come to think of it, most places probably call that Supreme.

On the way home, my car smelled like cigarette smoke.  I don't smoke and to the best of my knowledge, nobody has ever smoked in my car.

Started wondering if I was being visited...

Maybe all those aliens threads/responses  put you on their radar.

Yeah Supreme is a good mix of everything for the palate, hits it on all notes.

Maybe I’ll get pizza today!  TGIF.

My fav is a deep dish, followed by any type of regular pizza (not thin-crust tho). 🍕

There's this place near River Oaks in Houston that makes the best Chicago style Deep Dish pizza. Every single time I've gotten it from there, it's been great! (Their "normal" style crust pizza is great, too. They just know how to make great pizza. It's also the only place where I'll eat Hawaiian pizza. That's how good this place is.)

I might have to plan a trip to Houston at some point.

That would be awesome! (Also, the place is called Star Pizza, and there are in fact two locations: The one I mentioned above, which is the original, and one that's in the Heights. I prefer the original due to the atmosphere since it was an old house that was converted into a pizza joint, but to each their own.)

I just found out there's a third location in Katy, which is west of Houston.

Now I’m getting spooky vibes

That's where I was going.  Didn't smell it this morning.  My Dad & Aunt both smoked, Dad had a 3 pack a day habit until he quit cold turkey in '79.  I already live in a house with 5 cats, 4 of which are the physical kind.  The 5th one you occasionally catch out of the corner of your eye and the other 4 stare at rooms with no living things in them.

@tsar4 ❤️❤️❤️ you received a visit.  That’s really lovely.

I remember waking one morning with just the greatest sense of calm, warmth and love.  It felt surreal.  (At the time I was incredibly stressed at work and usually waking-up rushed everyday and already thinking of my to-dos, etc).  I found out that day that one of my good friends passed away unexpectedly.  I think she visited me to say goodbye.

Hawaiian pizza is so good!!  That’s usually my first pick because I like the pineapples.

We have a pretty good deep dish place out here too.  I like it better than the deep dish in Chicago even (*avoids flying objects*).

I’m about to leave to eat sushi but now I wish I were getting pizza 😂

I think I'm a traditional pepperoni guy, but I do like a good bbq chicken pizza - none of that blue cheese lumps mixed in with the mozzarella though

Hmmm...I'm also a fan of the olives and mushroom and the buffallo chicken, but also white garlic broccoli, orrrrrr sicilian slice no onions.  And apparently I bought a haunted house but so far I like and respect her so...I'm staying.

Eloquently displaying both topics of the thread in one post? I’m genuinely impressed. 😄

I'm sure the ghost likes and respects you, too. (I bet she's also saying "give me some pizza, fleshy!" as she flies around you, watching you eat pizza.)

Not for the ghost, or Mrs. Moore respectively.  No, for the ghost I got an original portrait of Mrs. Moore as a housewarming gift from the previous caretaker who bought it back from the local museum he donated it to and a couple of fun stories about sightings of her walking along one particular corridor on the second floor.  Apparently the Moores' were a prominent bunch in the area.

But I did get a discount for the condition of the place (it's a historical fixer upper from 1912 that was last updated in...1912.  Okay that's a bit of an exaggeration but some parts of the house are still knob and tube electricity and you can tell where the gas lamps used to be.  LOTS of repairs needed.  I basically live in the Adams Family mansion and I'm one black cat and a smoke machine away from being able to film an 80's music video, you know, the kind that are monochrome or in sepia tones and take place in an abandoned mansion with iron garden furniture inside, billowing curtains on the floor to ceiling windows, dead leaves blowing in from the outside and the main singer sitting backwards on some chair in the center of the room.

Still though, pizza here isn't as good as Jersey or New York pizza.  And they cut the round pies into squares...like it's a thing here...why...just why?

:LithiumSmileyLaugh: lmao, well she was English and something tells me pizza wasn't big in the early 1900's there...although she could be curious. This is reminding me of that show Ghosts, I think it was on Paramount...CBS...Idk but there's a character called Hetty that's a ghost and British and is dressed similarly to the way Mrs. Moore is in her portrait.  Hetty would've wanted to try pizza but would have come up with a reason why it was blasphemous.

Wow, this story is so wild.  And you are very brave. I have so many questions!  But I’ll only ask two:

(1) did you hang up the portrait?

(2) are you going to film something before you renovate?

By the way, I thought my house was old because it had the original toilet from the 1950s (super tiny).  But you got me beat haha.

My favorite Pizza is what they call "Latino style": Pepperoni, ham, sausage, onions, pineapple, and jalapeños (I get them to leave the jalapeños off cuz I'm a wuss), thick crust, from Pizza Twist.

That does sound good. I should see if my favorite pizza joint has something like that on their menu. (I know they can make it, but adding toppings to an already existing pizza on their menu or making one from scratch can definitely add up.)

I love blue cheese and pizza but that sounds nasty.

See, I hate blue cheese, so I automatically think that sounds nasty. I've tried to like blue cheese, but I just couldn't do it. I've tried to eat it several times and I always found that it would taste like a mixture of feet and an unwashed asshole. (Or what I think an unwashed asshole would taste like, anyway.)
