Jman Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Went out and had squid ink ramen at a place in Manhattan decorated with sake bottles and Street Fighter figurines. But I prefer my ramen with a nice cold beer. Delicious ramen though. 2 Quote
The_annoying_one Posted January 18 Author Posted January 18 I was going to just eat whatever tonight but my sister randomly showed up at my house with a bucket of KFC. I was thankful for the food but in no mood for company. Quote

André Toulon Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Hotdogs...maybe. Not sure. I made groceries but I really hate the cooking part now. Mostly because I didn't shop in meal form...just grabbed shit as I walked by and said "yeah, I'll eat this." We'll see 2 Quote
The_annoying_one Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Took a ham out of my freezer this morning but it’s still frozen, so…..white rice, chicken & corn all mixed together. Quote
GunStarHero Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Been using ribeye trimmings and cooking them up and tossing them into a tortilla with mixed cheeses, garlic butter drizzle, and fries and turning that into a sort of Cali quesadilla. I've had it a few times now and I want to add more but it's already so filling as is. Seems like the best food is always repurposed leftovers and scraps. 2 Quote

Perfect derail convo for the dinner thread, the kid's mother had to have hers removed....I have no idea why or for what reason it was necessary, but it was my first time hearing of such. 1 Quote
GunStarHero Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Tried some chicken and biscuits from Bojangles. Not bad. Felt like I got a decent amount of chicken for what I paid, which is more than I can say for virtually every other chicken place I've been to lately. Five piece tender baskets are usually a 2 piece someone cut thin and charged more for these days. Plus they seasoned their chicken so it was nice to not have the neurodivergent chicken tendies experience where all the flavor is shoved into a pittance of a sauce pack. 3 Quote
