Not only that, but gee, why would a movie released in March of 2021 underperform at the box office? Gee, can't imagine. It was the third-most-streamed movie of 2021 and has a 94% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes.

I'm more or less showing my displeasure at the need to make a live-action Your Name.  How about give the actual Your Name a wider release, or some streaming play?

Well yeah, that much is a given. There's no need to drag a really good other movie down to make that point though.

I will only watch this if the boy has to bodyswap with Awkwafina and completely botches the big scene by adding “yo” and “dawg” to all of the lines.

Never seen it, but Rings of Power has an 85 percent. Pretty sure RT is done as an honest movie review site and probably has been for a while.

I've seen bits and pieces of raya, but I hope to watch it in it's entirety one day because it looks awesome

I feel like Your Name is a lot easier to adapt than most other anime adaptations. You just got to make sure you're using good actors and direction.
