Oh, the only things I have left are a few controllers, Ninja gaiden 2 and flying dragon.....and that's because I have an emotional attachment to those 2.

I made a thread hear after my last house raid back home though. I'll look for it.

Yes, we are privileged to live in a society where we can buy video games.

Sweden, Japan, China, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Italy, UK....170+ nations in this world that have the same privilege. Why are we the only one you mention? Nationalist. 😐

So buying expensive video games equates to white nationalism?

LB, it's hard to argue with you when you just come out and lose the argument from the first post.

Regroup your shit.

No. I was being intentionally facetious. Also, did you not see the many other countries I mentioned? Think macro, not micro.

this might not be applicable in this case, but you also know damn well that if you find a holy grail video game that you loved which was uber difficult to find, and you had the money to burn, you'd pick it up for bragging rights. I mean come on, how many times are you going to find a NIB copy of Earthbound or something just randomly walking around.

I might pick it up, but I’m definitely going to case and store that fucker. Don’t need to brag on it until someone comes over or I die. , which reminds me, I should do that with my Genesis stuff.

I would definitely congratulate Naraku on his purchase of the NES game if I had no reason to believe it was a reproduction cart, since he already said the case was a reproduction case (glad he explained that without having to ask, I was wondering if he bought a former rental).

If it is a legit cart, I have no idea why it would be in a reproduction case because I can't imagine a reproduction case would add any value to a legit cart.

no, SOTN is a reproduction case. as far as I'm aware, the NES cart and manual inside are legit as the manual is very yellowed and looks obviously aged. I can't speak for the case itself

I got all 3 Ninja Gaidens.

Unlike literally everyone in my age group, me, nor my brother, nor my parents got rid of virtually any of our old video games. My parents got rid of literally almost none of them, and if my brother or I sold or traded any it was because we didn't like them much or at all.

Actually I just realized my parents sold or gave away our Power Pad or something. But that was it. I was so pissed when I found out many years later when I was looking for it. It's like, you couldn't even TELL us when you did???? But I believe the Power Pad is the only game related thing my parents got rid of. We still have the two carts we always had that it used; Super Team Games and the Super Mario / Duck Hunt / World Class Track Meet combo cart.

Oh. Well, if the manual is very yellowed, I 100% believe you that's legit, but that doesn't necessarily mean the cart is. However, going by the case I'm assuming it is legit and what you got is a former rental.

the cart itself also looks aged. well taken care of, but obvious signs of wear and tear. it could be a repro but my bet is more that someone took a real cart and a real manual and stuck it in a repro case. either that or what I have is completely original

You just got done telling me you were talking about SOTN was the one with the repro case, not the NES game.

Also there's no way in hell that case is original, no NES games came in cases like that. Either repro or rental, I'm assuming rental. But I do believe you that the manual and cart are legit.

Ok, let's take a look at what you've written here.

I was talking about the NES game. You clearly understood I was talking about the NES game because you used the word "cart" instead of "disc," meaning you were also talking about the NES game. Then in the same breath you say it's your bet the cart was put in a repro case.

MAKE UP YOUR MOTHER FUCKING MIND.
