NaBarney Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 I've gotten zilch so far for being essential Hooray for putting my life on the line for corporate profits that don't affect me with zero reward to show for it. 1
Vamped Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 We actually got 2 dollars extra an hour and really ... all the OT you want until May 31st tentatively. I talked to a friend of mine at another branch of the company and she said they got nothing but a few chic fil a sandwiches... so I was like ... oh noo thats dirty ... *closes company purchased chic fil a catering box* Our managers are getting a minimum of $1,500 bonuses across the board though. So I guess I better quit complaining about working during the pandemic. No need to worry though I find something else to complain about 2

Lasty Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 This is a transitional phase... we are out of time... people will be made to adjust... We cannot afford it. We must alter the chirality of the wave function very quickly... we are out of time... For the future...

No need to worry though I find something else to complain about i mean im still complaining. while all the social distance measures do seem to be working, we do work close sometimes. theres still a lot of people too. i feel much safer if they had testing at the door every morning in addition to all the social distancing. thats what they should be doing everywhere.

Gina Szanboti Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 Kroger did their whole $2/hr Heroes Bonus after they got shamed into it, and then bragged about it in their ads, which they are still running...even though they've now said "Welp, that's enough heroing shit, forget that $2 after Saturday." While their CEO just got a 21 million dollar bonus. The median pay for Kroger grocery workers in 2019 was $26,790. Also too, the ratio of Kroger's CEO's annual total compensation to that of their median employee for fiscal 2019 was 789 to 1." Oh, these uncertain times, however will Kroger's execs make it through? Fire sale on yachts, I suppose. If that makes you feel like you'd like to shop elsewhere, note that Kroger's also owns Ralph's, Fred Meyers, and a bunch of other local chains around the country, so watch out for snakes! 4
