do you honestly think he'd say "Yeah We're Screwed" if they really were

no because that would be bad pr...no company ever tells you "everything sucks" when they aren't doing well

everyone's so down on toonami when no one has any intention of cancelling it. it's not going anywhere anytime soon

I watched ahead...The rest of the season is just going to be this. No climax or build up. Just them training with tea and getting massages. Holy hell did they not know how to plan out this season.

some mangas do this....just have some boring slice of lifey filler after a huge battle

because it's not supposed to be the end of the arc. It continues in a movie that's now delayed, and a second season is inevitable but WILL be postponed due to the state of emergency over there.

With two episodes, they'd just be rushing a climatic finale. That would be a better way to end this, and save the better stuff for the next season.

as long as people are watching but if the block becomes a run of the mill rerun factory then it'll be as depressing as those empty arena wwe shows where most of it is promo's and old match replay's

I think the movie was already completed so once they are all to release it then we should get an update on it's official release

Why would they adapt part of the manga into a movie?  That is going to play hell for televising and watching purposes.  Toonami is basically fucked as far as covering the whole series.

for years during the early days, toonami was mostly reruns. didn't make it any less enjoyable

i mean it's not like people will give away food for free forever plus eventually people will have to pay bills...and when they can't due to no job

that means they are literally left in the dark

I mean they could stop being pig-headed and start airing movies again

true but we have streaming services now and if toonami became nothing but reruns there's little reason for anyone to keep checking in every week if there's no originals or dub premieres

In a manga it can work, in anime it is garbage pacing when it's the end of the season.

In Bleach we got to see the Gotei 13 in teh second season but that was on-going and we knew tons more season would give them all tons of screentime.

Here, the Hashira are only introduced like 4 episodes before the end fo the series.

Perhaps a intentionally canon and technically season 2 anime movie could finally one day change that

Yeah you shouldn't pace a series out like that.

Kocho letting her guard down and acting normal for once.  And there is an explanation for why she always acts the way she does.  She's... always angry?

imo, the only bad pacing is when a series rushes. slow burns and long calms serve to develop characters and relationships and worldbuilding, all of which make for a richer, more enjoyable story. actin beats, while important and fun, are overrated.

You have to have cool down and calm moments.  It can't be constant epicness all the time.  But yeah, doing it at the end of the season is odd.  That happened with My Hero Academia too, with the season before this one.

You're being melodramatic again.
