i love tanning

I wish it could be my hobby. I only do it when I need to. Otherwise I preserve my skin by never venturing out in the bright. But holy shit I so wish I was one of those girls who has the balls to be like fuck skin cancer and wrinkles idgaf I'm going to have a beautiful deep tan 365. Fake tan isn't the same. I need to bake in the oven. And yes, dear reader, I'm always going level 4 or platinum or w/e maximum tier happens to be. It's such a rush, and you get to stand up at the higher levels. Beds are problematic, less sanitary, and don't get your buttcrack as good. If you have a nice butt you might even end up w/a pale asscrack. I've seened it.

But I can't bring myself to be one of those always tanning girls. They get wrinkly.

Hella visible tanlines in the shape of a bikini are awful though.

another reason why I love tanning at a salon. Santa Barbara had a nude beach I'd go to tho. I miss it so much. There were some creepers but it's expected. Nude beaches are for everyone

i love this time of year because my body is paler than my head. ..but usually during the fall my head lightens begins to match the rest of my body

do you prefer to be lighter or darker? for me it's also the feeling of the UV rays cooking my body whether natural or a tanning booth

no too dark but id like to match!!

gotcha matching is always good. I actually don't lotion my face and look up when in the booth so I get less radiation on my face. Some girls put sunscreen on their face and are completely mismatched until they put on makeup. I like getting some sun on it so I don't look really strange w/o makeup since I go out w/o makeup a lot.

Was that outside or in a bed?

Outside. I had taken my dogs out. I was wearing a tank top and my shoulders were bright red by the time we went back inside

I’ve never tried a tanning bed, actually. I just always felt it would be a waste of my money since I burn so easily

It's probably best you don't use them if you burn that easy. I just asked since some beds are super powerful and you can burn in them in 5 minutes.

Really??? Well, sounds like I made at least one decent life choice 😂

My sister is worse off than I am, though. That girl is actually allergic to the sun. Breaks out in hives and will get really sick if she gets a bad enough sunburn.

That would explain why I haven’t aged in like 12 years... 🤔

Yea it does. Don't even try to start tanning. You really could if you went slow enough on the lowest beds, but it would take forever and you already look good w/fair skin. No reason to become addicted to it at this point in your life. Just stay a vampire.

UV is worse here on cloudy days! Didn't anyone tell you?

That's misleading. Same amount of time spent outside w/same sunscreen, it's less, but if it being cloudy makes you stay out way longer or not wear sunscreen, you might absorb more UV than on a sunny day. That's one of those boiled down statements by scientists to try and manipulate people for their own good. They just want you to wear sunscreen all the time and be conscious of the sun which is a good idea.

So the UV index is just a scam that originated from big sunscreen? Those diabolical bastards...

Clouds do block UV rays so the UV index will be lower. Wispy clouds or the edges can refract the sun and make the UV index higher, but that doesn't mean thick clouds don't block UV

What is a tan? My skin has never seen one of those. I’m so pale, I’m practically translucent

I'm right there with you, I'm so pale I'm told that I look sick, and I also go straight from white to red in the sun.

But it's better this way anyhow, the sun ages skin and we'll look young forever.
