Why is orange chocolate so in vogue these days?

I keep seeing this crap at the market. I don't think anybody ever buys it. Have you ever tried it? It's terrible. Who thought this was good idea?

I looked it up beforehand and the impression I walked away with is that you're only supposed to use the correct spelling if you're talking about fashion with regards to clothing fashion.

I don't think fruit and chocolate compliment each other all that well to begin with, but I always thought this was the most misguided pairing. Either this or the ones the purport to have combined their chocolate with chili peppers. Probably never gonna try that.

I don't mind orange juice with chocolate-chip cookies if there isn't any milk(rare mistake I make), but mostly I'll only do cherries and sauteed plantains with chocolate in sundaes.

They pop up more around Christmas. I think they taste all right.
