Edit: I guess they felt a Rick thon was better to run on Thanksgiving but will it return the following Thursday or is it just done? I guess we’ll see Edited November 26, 2024 by Sketch
OwlChemist81
Yes, it looks like it is airing December 5th.

Sure gonna confuse the few people who were watching it but if you had to skip 1 ep it isn’t the worst one to miss.
Jman
Another week with no sign of the Flop Girl on Max’s Top 10. Instead we have two baking shows, a holiday themed one at 10 and the Harry Potter one at 2, right behind Dune Prophecy.
OwlChemist81
Welp... https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/03/top-400-cable-shows-week-ending-26th_01602488462.html?m=1#google_vignette We finally see how One Piece is doing as a follow-up to Blue Exorcist reruns, and it's not good, as it was hanging on for dear life at #393 on 11/23/24. All of Toonami under 100K 18-49 that night to boot.
Jman
The Flop Girl continues to fail to make the Max Top 10, but Creature Commandos has been there since its debut. Point to Creature Commandos.

Point to Creature Commandos. We should be airing Creatures Commandos. WBD treats Toonami like garbage This show is getting traction. Jman
Just now, brianycpht said: We should be airing Creatures Commandos. Unfortunately some of the content might make that difficult. Spoiler Namely plot relevant sex scenes. I’d say just air Solo Leveling, which might be doable the same way Demon Slayer was.
PokeNirvash
Are the scenes in question absolutely relevant to the plot? Like, the show won't make sense without their being there? If not, then they can air with a trim or two. Unless they take up a sizable section of the episode, otherwise it's time to bring the black boxes back out! She has sex on screen, which is what drives Frankenstein’s monster to kill her creator and stalk her for the next century. You should be able to black box it. Jman
I checked to see if Flop Girl may have had a delay on the Max Top 10... Still not there. Yeah, it's cooked.
Jman
Creature Commandos is holding strong at #3 on the Max Top 10 and Flop Girl is nowhere in sight.
Jman
One last week of no Flop Girl while Creature Commandos holds at #3 on the Max top 10. Show is COOKED.

So I go to the Max ratings for something to report. Honestly, in 2025, the linear ratings are probably going to be considered so secondary for the block given Warner going all in on Max (including migrating all their sports programming from TBS and TNT to Max simulcasts, even All Elite Wrestling) this ratings block is going to need some major consideration for how we address the ratings in the future. The Nielsen number is becoming less and less important for cable, although networks still rely heavily on them.

These shows aren't made to generate popularity, they're here to fill up the HBO catalogue. And they're so cheap to make that nobody cares how successful or failed it is. Every show is a sunk cost, after all. Edited December 22, 2024 by Greener223224 1
