Another week with no sign of the Flop Girl on Max’s Top 10.  Instead we have two baking shows, a holiday themed one at 10 and the Harry Potter one at 2, right behind Dune Prophecy.

The Flop Girl continues to fail to make the Max Top 10, but Creature Commandos has been there since its debut.  Point to Creature Commandos.

We should be airing Creatures Commandos. WBD treats Toonami like garbage 

This show is getting traction. Jake Tapper of CNN was even promoting it

I’d say just air Solo Leveling, which might be doable the same way Demon Slayer was.

Are the scenes in question absolutely relevant to the plot? Like, the show won't make sense without their being there?

If not, then they can air with a trim or two. Unless they take up a sizable section of the episode, otherwise it's time to bring the black boxes back out!

It’s the Bride’s origin.  She has sex on screen, which is what drives Frankenstein’s monster to kill her creator and stalk her for the next century.

You should be able to black box it.

Honestly, in 2025, the linear ratings are probably going to be considered so secondary for the block given Warner going all in on Max (including migrating all their sports programming from TBS and TNT to Max simulcasts, even All Elite Wrestling) this ratings block is going to need some major consideration for how we address the ratings in the future.  The Nielsen number is becoming less and less important for cable, although networks still rely heavily on them.

I'm referring to the "Show is COOKED" attitude you've expressed. These shows aren't made to generate popularity, they're here to fill up the HBO catalogue. And they're so cheap to make that nobody cares how successful or failed it is. Every show is a sunk cost, after all.

Mashle up 70K year-to-year over Demon Slayer in 2024, but guess that’s all we're gonna get!

A dismal 132k for Mashle, the new record low for a lead show. But it did turn right back around, so hopefully that was just a hiccup caused by the 3 weeks the block took off its normal schedule. 

One Piece is getting cooked by the rerun hour before it, don’t know why they put so much stock into schedule consistency.

I mean, Mashle did 227k last week. By modern standards that’s pretty solid. So there IS still an audience out there somewhere, they just aren’t tuning in to Toonami. 

It’s almost like the Toonami schedule is nearly all reruns and that doesn’t encourage people to tune in.

But what you CAN glean is Saturday nights make it; despite being removed from them only by Mashle, IFG and BE don't.

I noticed this back in October or so, Spoiler TV only reports the 18-49 numbers. And even then, it’s like they only do 3-4 channels. Given how long it’s been going on I doubt it will be fixed, so they are probably burned as a resource for ratings now. 
 

Programming Insider gets them periodically but sometimes goes multiple weeks without reporting. And right now, the only show eligible for ratings is One Piece, which I can’t imagine is doing too hot with 90 mins of reruns in front of it. 
 

Can’t imagine ratings are all that important anymore seeing as they are willing to let FLCL slop reruns occupy midnight. They have given up.

Just for fun I looked up the total households for Scavengers Reign on Netflix.

500,000.  No wonder it was cancelled.  Ippo, despite having been available elsewhere for a while and only in the US last June, did triple.
