It's a local store that isn't even around anymore by the looks of it. I firmly believe that local stores are almost never better than national stores of the same genre. Almost never. So I respectfully disagree with your take. It had a lot of brand name toys, but more importantly, a lot of custom designed toys that couldn't be bought anyplace else. Wooden boats powered by recycled Victrola mechanisms, for example.
