I went to the butcher yesterday. Got them salted and peppered. I will not eat anything tomorrow until steak tomorrow night.

Oh I just add garlic salt to it and that's it

When I was a kid, my dad made a vinegar butter he put on them. It was good. My mother liked to use garlic. But i prefer only to use salt and pepper. No steak sauce. Because that should be illegal to put on something as perfect as steak.

Granted it's a preferred taste I actually have sliced ribeye paper thin and eaten it sashimi style perfect
