My worry is why would you need to restore a 2015? In tia case the resale value would have dropped, 3 times in fact.

She's posted her car before, or at least parts of it. Most recently, going through the drive thru at McDonald's. The interior looked like shit from what I could see.

But yeah, a 2015 wouldn't be restored. It shouldn't be in bad shape to begin with. Of course, she probably drives like shit. But I'm also inclined to believe it hasn't been restored for another obvious reason, and that is because she is broke as fuck.

Yep. My lawnmower wasn't much less than your car.

Add on the special jack needed to get under the lawnmower, and blades, not too far from being more expensive than your means of transportation.

Thats the cost after $11000 depreciation. I bought it in 2015.

Hell has frozen over your abundant knowledge of motor vehicles has finally produced something that made me laugh. Thanks.

You're saying that you paid off a $25,000 vehicle within 4 years?

I am scratching my head on this one.

You must have had some outrageous monthly payments.

Which still leaves me scratching my head, like I contracted head lice.

26,000

And i paid it off EARLY. It was supposed to be paid off in 5 years.

The payments were like $300 something? I dunno. I always paid more.

What?

She tried to insult him, I made her look like the stupid ass she is.

Yes derrr everytime I make a satirical post it DOES NOT mean I'm trying to hit you out of spite. In fact the only time I will do that to you is if I feel I'm being spited in some form of censure for being myself.

I saw your mishap pics. It's grey. Is it a P-71?

it's red. but I took those pics at night so maybe it looked grey....Don't really remember because of the concussion.....And It's a Police interceptor .....Which might be P-71.....Not sure what that is.

Maybe you should stop butt chugging vodka and sharting it out while you're driving.

Or I’m just thinking of someone else’s 🤣

Either way I do remember you have a Vic... and easy way to know if it’s a P-71 is either “was it a police vehicle at one point?” Or just look for a P71 in the vin number

Even if it is, it still will out last your outdated Escape-based crossover three times over.

We'll see

And i can afford new cars instead of driving trash into the ground so we might not

I mean they were used as police cars and taxis for 20 years unlike the shit you drive so... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also so there you go again with that “I bought this material item because it’s ‘new’ and ‘expensive’ so I am automatically better than you” shit.

My mom bought a brand new Mustang GT in 1990 and drove it 281,000 miles in 13 years. Why did she wait so long to get a new car? Because the ‘90 was an extremely reliable car up to that point. The most major repair done to it was a fuel pump, which my dad did in a parking lot. She adored that car. Her reason for trading it in was because she was recently divorced and being a single mom, was worried that a car with almost 300,000 miles on it might cause her problems. She cried the day she drove off the lot in a newer, very nice Mustang GT.

So again, your theory is asinine.

I never said anything about being “better” or even implied that. You are YET AGAIN twisting my words around.

Also, newer features? My 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee has all the features your shit has. Power heated leather seats, heated mirrors, privacy glass, power sunroof, keyless entry... I could go on. Probably why the Grand Cherokee is the best SUV ever built. Oh and Crown Vic’s came with all that shit in 1992 when they began that body style.

Also, those oil spots could have already been there.

you want to sit here and try to “agree” on different strokes but I guarantee you, you’ll be trying to say you are better than someone because of some new shit you overpaid for within the next 24 hours.

First off....Ask her to show you an oil spot.

Second, I buy cash cars because I don't need a car note to make me feel important.....I own 3 cars, and they all run fine.  Not to mention I also own a 2016 Soul, but I don't claim it because I don't pay the note.  If I claimed it, I'd just be Packard.

My boss was talking with me about Land Cruisers the other day, sounds like the best car in the world if you've got the cash. It just pointed out to me the absurdity of how we engineer. Like a fridge with the motor in back is $700. Put the motor on top so the fridge doesn't fight the heat anymore? $5000 or something ridiculous.

Exactly. Partly why I own a '91 and a '98. Also, they both are very reliable, they both are vehicles I like, the '91 is gaining value every day even though I'll never sell it, they are cheaper to insure because I don't need full coverage, and they both are very very cheap to maintain.

Oh and both of them get 25 or better mpg's on the highway.

While I do love the Land Cruiser, they are still a bit pricey to keep going, and the Jeep 4.0 will outlast a Land Cruiser's V8.

Yeah, he was talking about the price because it would last so long. I'm not motivated to research the engineering though. My Corolla lasted me long enough to be worth it, so I'm sticking there.
