What is it about driving in the wee hours of the night/morning

That makes everyone want to drive slow in every lane EXCEPT the slow lane?

During the day the only reason I wouldn't be able to drive fast in the fast lane is because there is too much traffic. And even then, it's still faster then the other lanes.

Late at night / early in the morning, the few people on the road are typically going slow, in the middle and left lanes, with absolutely nobody in the far right lane.

And to top that off, late at night, the turtles in the fast lane never merge over to the next right lane when I catch up with them.

MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU WANT ME TO PASS ON THE RIGHT? I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT. BUT I GUESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT "slow traffic keep right" SIGN EITHER, HUH?

I think, and speaking from experience, it seems as if you are going a lot faster than you actually are in the dark. During the day, I drive around 70 mph. At night, it's usually around 55 mph, but it seems as if I'm hauling ass.

I have not experienced this. Or if I have it was a long fucking time ago.

But even then, shouldn't these people be like, "I'm not comfortable going fast at night, I should get in the slow lane."?

Yes. I scrolled up and re-read it. I miss that part the first time. So, if that's the case, there is no excuse.

I can’t see shit in the dark.

I have a hard time seeing the lines in the street when its dark and raining. I hate it. I have to get in the far right so I can hear my tires scrub the shoulder or the side walk if I go over too far.

That's why I like having a car that can accelerate from 70 to 90 effortlessly... I just go around them with an early activated indicator.

That's what headlights and streetlights are for!

Heyo!

My headlights need that spray that clears the lenses atm, plus certain stretches of Texas highway are completely barren of street lights... Still I usually drive the speed limit unless the road winds alot, and there's a lot of bridges exits etc.
