I was built like a meerkat back then, but I should have really gone all in alpha mode and faced (foolish) rejection like a man and delivered the counter punches. Because when I really think about it, today's legal age teen isn't on the same frequency as the teens back in my day, which wasn't very long ago anyway, but these teens have become more beta and social media obsessed on the past seven or so years, whereas the teens in my HS days, now cougars, were at least carryover from the normal culture of the 80s and 90s

Not even saying this as a dig at you my whole professional career has been about helping people who are mentally ill. Though if you are serious I doubt you'd have made it this far in life without being pink slipped so carry on.
