Jesus... It took me 10 minutes to get my license this morning from start to finish to ID in my pocket.

Thank God I'm still pissed off.

I guess the wait goes with actually buying the firearm tho? Idk... I just know I needed to get my PA license and MA took forever.

I am on someone's hit list for sure lol.

But I applied for my concealed carry permit 2 years ago. I am still waiting for my interview for it.

illi requires you to take a training course for cc, but not for the regular foid card. finding a training course with openings is probably the hardest part of the entire process right now.

Mine took about 40 mins in Lancaster City... my buddy in Philly took 6 months.

Actually, it's harder or more taxing to actually legally buy a registered firearm in PA than it is to conceal carry one. The one I carry I had bought from my mom and it was a two hour process to get it switched over to my name.

oh..it's ok. i currently have 16 rifles and 8 handguns at my disposal. 

just wanted something new and fresh. and light to teach the girl child about gun safety.

we both own firearms, and she's agreed to pick up her cc permit with a ruger lc9 i'm gonna buy her later this summer. she just says i don't need more of them. well mama, you don't need more makeup either, but i'm not stopping you from hitting up ulta once a month.

makeup may be a need, but ulta is a want imho. regardless, if she wants it, i don't stop her. i have to be honest though, she's never outright said "no" when i talk about buying another gun. she just gives me the look, and i know it's not worth the battle that will ensue. but i'm about 90% of the way there on getting her to accept that new cc handgun, and that also means i get to pick one up for myself. that's how it generally works. i can get myself something nice, as long as i get her something nice as well. happy wife, etc etc.

plus, i have other SHTF weapons that will be a lot more useful after the ammo runs out.
