Meilag32 Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 I'd still be trying for the infinite life wish that Frieza wanted.
ben0119 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Yeah Goku understands what it's like to want to do something nice for a spouse lmao. Why does it make a difference if you're alive! Lmao she got him there.
DangerMouse Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 (edited) Hahahaha Bulma Dat 18 blush lol Edited June 24, 2018 by DangerMouse 1
Delaclease Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Was watching What's Wrong With Secretary Kim with my Father in law. Stopped so we could watch this. This is a messy show...
mochi Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Ironically 18's face is basically the same as Mai's old face but without makeup 1

Meilag32 Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 Goku stars in "Journey to the Center of the Earth". 2

DangerMouse Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 ROFL he's actually going down there right now? 1
Sandstone Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 I hate Whis' english voice. He sounds so much more fabulous and flamboyant in the original. In the dub he sounds like he's permanently on pain killers.

mochi Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 okay Beerus....there IS no penalty to Time Travel. this is bullshit and you know it time travel in this show does absolutely nothing to existing timelines...so there's literally no harm done by doing it 1
Meilag32 Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 When was Shenron just able to leave on his own?
DangerMouse Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 ROFL King Kai 'make the wish while Bulma's distracted!' LOL Shenron 2

That was one of the points of the Future Trunks arc.

I'm more than inclinded to belive the toned down nature of his voice was to avoid making him sound like a Gay stereotype that said....Funimation claims he's Straight for some reason (or did at an anime convention recently)
Meilag32 Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 How did I know that King Kai would still not be resurrected? 1
Sandstone Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 That was "I can't hold it anymore" in the original. The way they ended that made it seem like he was just annoyed... the whole point of the joke was they took so damn long he was forced to go back. 1
ben0119 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 You have no room to talk, Beerus you asshole! So what was the point of keeping the time machine around just to destroy it? You should have brought King Kai back first, Goku!
Delaclease Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Meh. Should have kept watching What's Wrong With Secretary Kim.

Unless that was forgotten/retconned.

Sandstone Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Goku is like that stereotypical unreliable father from movies and tv shows that tells his son "hey I promise I'll be at your next baseball game" and then fucks it up again. Rinse wash repeat for all time.

CorbeauKarasu Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 honestly, what was the point of that episode? an next week, Arale? and Vegeta being humiliated
Meilag32 Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 Damn, looks like the Arale episode is coming to the US. 1) Vegeta looks dope in that suit and tie. 2) I love how Vegeta goes pure meta, even knowing he got beat because of the meta-ness of the episode. 1

OwlChemist81 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 (edited) So this girl's name is Arale, huh?? I thought it was Yurin, but apparently it's not time for her yet... ANN's reviewer gave this campy episode a C+, but, mild spoiler, and quite a shocker: toward the end of the review; it turns out Arale is actually a CROSSOVER character!! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/dragon-ball-super/episode-68/.109270 The anime she comes from is another Toei show, and one I've never even heard of before: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=971 Edited June 24, 2018 by OwlChemist81 1
Blatch Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Everyone I know thinks the Arale episode is one of the best of the series... no irony. Of course, it's even better if you've actually watched/read Dr. Slump, so I'm expecting blank stares from most Toonami fans. Also, I would recommend that everyone put their Vegeta boners away for as long as this show isn't in serious territory. These episodes are funny, and if one character getting shat on is part of what makes them so great, then so be it. All of you, show some humility for once. 2
