Got a new passport!

My old passport was used as my only id for two years in new hampshire, so it was too warped to renew. I opted to pay the full amount for a completely new one. It was a slightly longer application, but it included the oath, which is that I answered my application questions truthfully, and that the photo was a true and authentic photo of me.

Now authentic was the word that made laugh. I got all prim and proper for my passport photo and walked to the FedEx store. However, it was super windy, and I was in such a rush for an expedited passport that as long as it fit the parameters, I didn't care too much.

I should have cared though. But I don't. That's what makes this photo so authentic. It signals that I'm a fucking mess and that I'd like that to be recognized internationally.

Needless to say, I laughed as I tried to take the oath. Lucky me, I wasn't flagged for any suspicion the agent might have had.

nice pic of you it looks very good.  i want to renew my passport but i have access to canada...  do you know if an enhanced DL

can get you into mexico, too?  if i renew it will be a big event that i need to invest in leaving the country for some reason.

its not financially reasonable for me to have a passport because i have the ID that gets me into Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, and the

river side cities that i like on the border

you're a good looking nonbinary pal.

Fixed
but agreed, I went for that as opposed to the enhanced ID because 10 years is a long time,
and eventually I'll visit Japan, or Korea again, or Russia (if they let me in), or Europe.

I have relatives there, and two friends in school there studying abroad (one getting a masters. Something related to baseball). It's the mightiest traveling need.

Whoa whoa whoa... a master's in baseball? Sign me the fuck up.

I mean, as long as there is no lab in the classes. I can't play for shit. But if I can learn to be a coach, or a scout, or someone in the "front office" or something... I'm fucking in like Flynn.

It's a sociology angle, if I can recall.
