Update: I spotted him three hours ago. I slowly opened the door and he immediately darted away. He didn't even go for the trap. I've spent the past three hours searching the neighborhood for him, but I can't find him. Earlier today I actually went driving around looking for him, locked myself out of my running car, and managed to break in by wedging a rock between my door and sliding my car antannae between the crack.

Tl;dr? Cats still gone. Today was fun. Yay.

Get him microchipped the lil rascal

He is. I just need to be careful from now on. He got out because I was moving a grill outside and I didn't shut the door. NEVER AGAIN!

Aww. I can tell you love him and that you were very upset. Dont worry too bad if he does get out again..theres a reason they say cats have 9 lives. They know how to survive.

I do love him. I adopted him because nobody else would. He's my little buddy.

Now stay inside, you fuzzy little asshole. Your hooman was scared and making other kitty's hoomans scared.

His little ears were slightly frostbitten.. And he was starving, but now he's fast asleep and safe

How'd you get him? In the trap or willingly?

I just walked outside and decided to check under my neighbors shed. I thought he was gonna bolt but I managed to coax him out. The poor guy was shivering.

Maybe he will be less interested in escaping because of that. Was this his first time on his own outdoors?

To my knowledge yes. He came back a few times and stood in the front walkway, but he would always dart away as soon as I opened the door. Judging by how much he's sleeping I'd say he was out of energy. Keep in mind, he was gone for a week. He was out in the freezing rain and snow. I'm lucky I found him
