Zenigundam Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Whenever I go to the movie theater, I get hammered before the film and want to try to sit next to a cute girl who's sitting by herself, but the cute girls ALWAYS go with friends. I swear I've never found one sitting by herself, and ideally it'd be toward the back of the theater so that if it doesn't work out I won't get stupid looks or commentary from people behind me.
StarPanda Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 They go with friends because they know that guys like you are out there and they gotta play it safe 1 1

Some of them are only 19 and haven't had time to experience real heartbreak. I notice when they look at me that they don't want their friends to be there, but it's like you said it's a defense mechanism. 😩
Houdini Splicer Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 You should go sit by one, anyway, and see how quickly they all spray you with mace. Make sure you record it on your phone. You know, for your court case science. 1

Clu Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 I go by myself and purposely leave my fountain drink unattended in the hopes of someday landing me a real man. 1
katt_goddess Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Whenever I go to the movies, I always tend to go by myself. And no creeper would dare sit near me because I would punch them.
Hornshire Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Perhaps you "don't see" them out of pure convenience, because then you can indulge in these fantasies without any empirical test, since doing so would completely invalidate them. Or perhaps your reputation precedes you, and girls actually won't attend a theatre in your vicinity unaccompanied.
SwimModSponges Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Theres a song about this. David Bowie's Life On Mars.
Gyaos Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Depending on my shift, I can go to movies during the day. I've seen women sit alone. Women of various ages. Some in their 20's. Others in their 30's. Most are in their 40's. You get the occasional woman in her golden years coming in, and leaving halfway for some reason. But it's always on matinees. On weekdays. When almost everyone else is working. And you know what I don't do? I don't fucking creep... I also like sitting alone, so the feeling is mutual. We enjoy a movie for $7.00 and don't make things awkward.
