I need money and don't have any sick time. Also they can be kind of weird about people calling off especially on holidays.

No shit I think everyone here knows how much I hate my job. But having to work holidays doesn't mean a job is shitty. Unless you think doctors, nurses, firefighters, and policemen all have shitty jobs too.

I mean I basically work paycheck to paycheck so yeah. Also I don't think they'd be this petty but they could if they wanted to fire me for calling off once so I don't wanna risk it right now.

Also I'm seeing Star Wars on opening night and was planning on calling off that day if they don't schedule me off so I don't wanna have any other call offs <_<

seriously, tech is stupid easy to get into. i was able to do it and i'm an idiot. some jobs in tech you wouldn't need programming knowledge for would be like tech support. i don't do tech support anymore but i still don't have programming knowledge.
