PokeNirvash Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 So... yeah. Is there any reason we can't edit our own posts? Quote
Naraku4656 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 we can, there's a button called Modify Quote
PokeNirvash Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 I figured as much. But how can I access it? All I get on the upper right corner of my posts is "Quote". Quote
Admin Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 you have to rank up a tiny bit for that to kick in. Quote
PokeNirvash Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 you have to rank up a tiny bit for that to kick in. Is that so? How much, exactly? Quote
Admin Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I think it kicks in at "citizen" which should be your next rank. and the early ranks don't take too many posts to achieve. Quote

Wait, so I was able to edit my own posts from 1 on the old forum, but here I need 100 to do the same? I don't mean to offend, but that's asinine. Quote
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 I'm a Citizen rank and I can't figure out how to edit. And luuv that is really stupid to make that a rank privilege. Please allow everyone to edit there posts, like every other forum in the entire history of ever. So I don't have to continuously make new posts just to correct old ones with typos/mistakes. Quote

Doom Metal Alchemist Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Just delete/repost the old ones! I don't see how to do that either. :-\ Quote
BUU8800 Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 I don't see how to do that either. :-\ Hmmmm, me either actually. Nevermind then. ;D Quote
EmpressAngel Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Wait, so I have to post 100 times just to edit a typo I make? This is some bulllshit. Quote
770312 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Not being able to edit is stupid - it'll just clog up threads when one person makes a few posts because of a typo. (screw proofreading! Rawr) Quote
770312 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 I've been with the [asmb] since January 2014... I think I can handle editing posts. Quote
