how did 1mg of klonopin mess me up for 3 days?

if u have super strong reactions to any drug that isn't normal for ppl, you should probably stop. Your body might be metabolizing it differently than the average person.

I know a tgirl who only takes 1/2 to 1 mg of estrogen b/c her body metabolizes it like super efficiently or something. Whereas the typical dose is 4-6mg/day. Her doctor had her on 4mg at first but she got sick, angry, depressed from her body being superloaded w/estrogen. They took her levels and she was off the charts.

I think its because I have been clean and sober for so long my body can't tolerate shit anymore. Klonopin stays in the body for 1-4 days. It has a long half life , yet I shouldn't be that sensitive to it. I am not a lightweight with shit. I have 600mg of an anti seizure med on board, but I don't see how that should matter its not a big dose really. Nothing I haven't done before.

Took kpin Wednesday night, still felt it strong friday morning. weird.

Is it Depakote? Because that can have interactions with other stuff, especially if you're taking a heavy dose like that. Benzos are notorious for having high levels of drug interactions with a variety of things because of the mechanism they employ in the brain.

Are you SURE it was 1 mg? I'm asking seriously here.

I'm assuming you are an average American male, possibly a little overweight, so 1 mg of Kolonopin (assuming you're a regular user), will be filtered out of your blood stream within a few hours if taken in the normal dosage. If you took it all at once, you'd pretty much be sleeping most of the day, as it is a drug designed as a sedative and anti-siezure medication.

I guess my tolerance must be getting low- like I can't remember or explain what I did that last 72 hours.  I was present but yet not present.

Drugs are strong.  :|

Congratulations! You've been clean long enough to become a cheap date again! :catP :

Let me go off to my snooty medical website and check interactions.

Edit: Back. No interactions reported between Klonopin and your other med that I can't spell.

Different people, different chemistry.

Plus, your body changes over time - I only take 1 tylenol ES instead of 2 for a headache now, and I'm only on 150 of lamictal now instead of 300., and apparently it's working, because it's been a while since I've been committed.

Lamictal fucked me up. My body stopped healing. You have no idea how much you bruise and bump yourself and your body heals before you notice it. Worst part is what it did to my feet and hooha. Nothing like being depressed and having a fatal side effect.

No its oxcarbazepine (Trileptal). Perhaps there is some strange interaction? Not based on blood levels... if anything I think some seizure meds lower blood levels of other stuff.

Yes its a pill and I checked it to make sure. 1mg is not " alot" of klonopin IMO. 2 mg maybe.

No interactions based on blood levels. Maybe in my brain some weird shit is happening. Lot of weird shit happens there anyways.  :|

There was a lot of crazy going on...and I'd rather take a lot of lamictal than an atypical. Plus, I was about 80 lbs heavier when I first went on it,

Stevens Johnson syndrome. You're lucky - it's quite often fatal.

yah i know..its not the only side effect either. ive had horrible side effects from four different meds. wellburtrin was almost as bad as lamictal. inflamed every joint in my body and it was the worse in my feet. i couldnt walk and crawled everywhere for days. the only good thing was i was on medical leave due to depression at the time and wasnt working.
