Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 seriously, i have no idea how that whole company has a single person still working there
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 i don't care what they call themselves now. they're still Time Warner Cable.
fuggnificent Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Its not now called spectrum where you are? I cancelled them last month. Fucking $75 bill for wifi then they had the nerve to say it was just going to go up. I have at&t now for $40.
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 according to my bill, my service is Time Warner. one line of my bill says "Enrolling is easy, just go to twc.com/account"
fuggnificent Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 according to my bill, my service is Time Warner. one line of my bill says "Enrolling is easy, just go to twc.com/account" So why are you mad at them?
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 raised my rates. i yelled at them but they know the only other choice i have right now is AT&T until google moves their slow asses
fuggnificent Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 raised my rates. i yelled at them but they know the only other choice i have right now is AT&T until google moves their slow asses When i said i wanted to disconnect they offered me a better rate. It was too late cuz at&t was already installed.
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 i don't trust at&t. i actually trust them less than TWC. yes, they can get me gigabit with a one year agreement but i refuse to do that
fuggnificent Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 i don't trust at&t. i actually trust them less than TWC. yes, they can get me gigabit with a one year agreement but i refuse to do that Its better than paying double. Working in customer service im pretty good at not getting too fucked over like when they tried to charge me for THEIR faulty equipment i had returned.
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 they tried to charge me double but i haggled them down. i was only really able to get to $45 when i had $35. hopefully that'll cover me until Google comes around this way
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 Verizon isn't much better. i had their wireless service for years and hated every minute
CAC Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Oh yeah there cell company is horrible, but there cable/internet is pretty good I think.
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 i haven't had their cable to be honest so it may be good. i just know their phone service is garbage
fuggnificent Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Oh yeah there cell company is horrible, but there cable/internet is pretty good I think. Verizon has the best service. You just don't like cell phones.
Still Me Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 seriously, i have no idea how that whole company has a single person still working there i would take time warner over at&t any fuckin day
Top Gun Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Around here we have Verizon (FiOS) or Comcast (Xfinity), so it's basically a question of whether you like taking it up-front or from behind.
Swimmod_Luna Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Spectrum's not bad I pay $45 a month and get about 60-70Mbps on average. AT&T can go fuck themselves they said I could get 70 when I signed up but then when the guy came to set it up they said I could only get 24. Cancelled and switched to Spectrum in less than a week and still got charged over $100.
CAC Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Verizon has the best service. You just don't like cell phones. I love my cellphone.
Phillies Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I dunno my waifu and momfu sorts all these things out.
katt_goddess Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Verizon has the best service. You just don't like cell phones. Tracfone. $19 a month, uses any and every tower available, and I have over 2,000 minutes for anything I want including internet.
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 Tracfone. $19 a month, uses any and every tower available, and I have over 2,000 minutes for anything I want including internet. google fi $23 a month for unlimited minutes and text. $10 per gig but i don't use data
katt_goddess Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 google fi $23 a month for unlimited minutes and text. $10 per gig but i don't use data It costs me half a minute per text and the only person I was texting with any sort of regularity died last year. And actually I lied. Sorta. It actually costs me $19 every three months. I forgot I have an immediate 90 day add-in thing. So more like $6.33 a month or something like that. It's a phone so it does what I expect which is usually to sit in my pack until the battery runs low.
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 yeah i talk to more people than that so that wouldn't help
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 isn't that more expensive than Google Fi? i guess it depends on how much data you're using
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 so that is more expensive for someone like me. i can switch between what's basically tmobile and sprint. idk i like Fi. i hated Verizon when i had them because they kept charging me for data i never used
Naraku4656 Posted July 25, 2017 Author Posted July 25, 2017 i dont know how you don't use data unless you never leave your home my job has a guest network that they let us use, so i use wifi. when i'm out i look for TWC Wifi or Cable Wifi (the only good perk of having their shit service). there's a lot of those by me. or i just use whatever public wifi i find. if i get lost then i'll use data, but last month i used 5mb of data and the month before i used 0.
