Rogue_Alphonse
there's no where decent to live in the entire U.S any more if you ask me. Nope, every place has its flaws. But every place has those who just love it no matter what. for example, I love the Delco area of PA. (Delaware County... just below Philadelphia County, a 10-20 min drive into the city). It has its own charm... like if I needed to live near Philly, Camden, NJ or Wilmington, DE... I'd be in Delco I could go to Charleston and hate how boring or bland it is (Not saying that's true, it's just an example)

I really like Texas just because of the sheer size, and eco diversity. My grandfather owned some land in a small town by the Palo Duro Canyons, and I've hunted, hiked, fished, etc, but you'll find a lot of ignorant politicians, DRUGS, cartels, and just plain stupid people that'll make you want to drink bleach exsisting along side them so.. Same could be said for most of the U.S. at this point though. I also like the racial diversity. A lot of chinese, there's a hispanic majority so I call bullshit on white priveledge..The diversity is a double edged sword though I guess. You should ask locals where the happening place is...outside of downtown theres chill spots in ladson, summerville, goose creek, moncks corner...everywhere. André Toulon
How is your reading comprehension so bad.....That article said nothing about living there....It's about tourists/visitors that voted in a magazine called Travel+Leisure. New Orleans is an awesome tourist trap, but no one wants to live there.
