Really? I thought they were common throughout the South during the summer. I mean we're not like godforsaken California which probably has a permanent burn ban in effect for the entire state until the end of time but it's been a pretty typical thing throughout my life, at least where I live.

Update (to the surprise of no one) it was user error, I must have accidentally clicked Stop Hiding Ignored Person's Posts on one of their hidden posts. I looked to make sure they were still on my Ignored Users list but didn't make sure that Posts was still checked along with Mentions and Signature and all that other stuff. Tldr everything is working fine
