A superintendent handles all of the day to day construction responsibilities like scheduling, communication between the site and the architect and owner, and handling the minutae of building such as making sure every measurement is correct and everything is exactly where its supposed to be. A project manager (GC) is responsible for bidding, change orders, project closeouts.
