I don't really see how you think this. It's well known that Vegeta suffers from Worf Syndrome. This is how it was in DBZ. If anything, Vegeta is doing better in Super, because he's actually on Goku's level. In DBZ, he was always playing catch up. Only real difference is the comedic stuff. Which again, because it's Vegeta, makes it funnier.
