If that was the intent it didn't come off very well. That first incident was whatever. That guy was small potatoes. The second one depended on nobody picking up the phone and calling Orga and just blindly following these new guys that came in to fight in some stupid war. It just came off very forced. So that was written badly but it seems like the writing in general has not been that great for season 2. Well, maybe we could give credit to the Jastley stuff. That guy was lurking around the whole season and then caused a bunch of shit, had Lafter killed. But then he was dealt with in a single episode, with said episode opening after the battle already started. So, this last push is so that things like that won't happen anymore? Eh...

Think of the biggest, best show that would make the most sense for Toonami to get and then set your sights 2 or 3 levels below that. That's what it's been like the past couple years. Demarco really dropping the ball.
