    The problem I see is more with the pacing. Oh same episode we have Endevor leaving flowers for his wife and being super heroic. Thats just clunky story telling. We have seen him trying to patch things up with his son, though just the one. We never really got to see him talking to his other kids. So that is kinda where i see the problem. All this shit apparently happened off screen when he was built up for multiple arcs to be a piece of shit. I like characters to have some grey to their morality. It makes things more believable for me anyway. Trying to absolve someone of wrongdoing is what they did in Naruto and it's the biggest thing I hate about the series.

    The problem is the manga never really goes into why Endevor was a shit dad aside from he worked and treated his kids a eugenics projects. They don't say he would beat the shit out of his kids, but they'd say he was hard on them while "training". The terms used I think were meant to have people fill in the blanks to think of something bad on their own. The mom though they straight out just say she snapped and threw hot water on her kid. Yeah she was being used as a slam pig to pump for eugenics, but you don't turn your kids into shabu shabu.

    Surprised that you also didn't complain about camie unless we agree that she's not quite good enough for S despite the catsuit. For midnight IDK the flesh thing seems to bother me less than the burlap tone they picked for her. Though I've heard of other people say they aren't fans of the flesh tone clothing either, so maybe Its me.

    Yeah but you said cable tv lol Did some reading and I guess these episodes would be new on "cable" tv. Though they were shown through a stream owned by Hulu called Neon Alley up till episode 338 when the service was dissolved in 2016. Since then there have been no new english dub broadcasts of Shippuden.

    I remember the Caulifla, Kale, and Kefla more than most of the ToP arc. I don't know what toriyama was thinking when he made Cabba. Hey what would Vegeta look like if he was a lame stick figure that liked doing the right thing because it's right.... Should make that a recurring character. Krillin got downgraded bad by super. Not only did they make him shorter, but they were making him far more cowardice than he was in Z. I feel like some of that was have a better dynamic to play off of with 18. Toriyama says he doesn't like writing romance, so I think that his default is write the women as angry and the men as pathetic. 18 though had a lot of development. Really couldn't go down though considering she became wall paper in Z after she married Krillin. Bulma probably has had more relevance as a character than she has had in a long while. She'll never get back to the relevance she had in DB, but it's to be expected. Though I'll also have to check out the manga. The fights and character interactions in it are entirely different than in the anime. Like Kefla doesn't even fight Goku in the manga. She fights Gohan and doesn't use any of the flirty banter like she did with Goku in the anime. So Toei has a vision of what they think is good and Toriyama has his own vision.
