You know what bugs me about Skyrim? It would have been so incredibly easy for Bethesda to make Elder Scrolls 6 using it as a base. SE engine works great, just throw in official versions of some of the more important mods (like SkyUI), then re-use like half the assets to create the province of High Rock. Whip together a couple of quest lines, set it directly after the events of Skyrim, wham, cash cow. I mean, they're still milking it with just re-releases of the same game, a whole new game made with half the effort would have been phenomenal.

Also does it have to be email or can i just pm the text to you? Because otherwise id have to make a one-time use burner email account in oder to retain my anonymity, and that would be a pain.

2500 words for this competition, eh? Thats about the size of 2 of the chapters im used to writing, maybe a bit less or more dependant on the amount of diologue. Imma have to keep this high and tight. Its an exciting challenge.

Anything that consumes time inherently brings you closer to death; thats just the nature of existing within a universe define by a finite timeline.

So. When im writing a story i find it really helps with the diologue to get into the head of the character, try to feel the emotions theyre feeling at the moment, acting out their facial movements. The fact that the majority of my characters spend their time either angry or annoyed often makes my girlfriend ask me if im ok as i sit typing with an angry expession and the ocassional scoff.

If you could get any tangible item or experience for christmas, what would it be? The only limit is it has to be something someone could give you, it cant be like world peace or something like that, but it could be like a vacation or like concert tickets. Hell id even let you attend the concert of a dead musician given the hologram technology we have today.

I dont know that i'd be greate at a screenplay, but i can whip up a mean haiku.

So i was just thinking about making a shitpost in there about a funny little quirk of my writing style, but then i worried that: A. It would get very few replies as it isnt that strong of a topic, and B. It would pop up in the top of the forum, above the actual creative works of substance. So i came up with a solution; a pinned thread for creative chatter. All the posts in the folder that are not in and of themselves creative works could be merged into the singular thread; fostering communication by encorporating it into a focussed area, as well as allowing less obstructed access to the crative works themselves. Ya dig?
