I'm surprised myself at how quiet they've been about the 1/8 schedule....

I'm expecting doubled up AC S2 and cowboy bebop on the block that's it....however if that was the case then we would have had a schedule update by now....soooooo

so we'll be going into thursday with still no 1/8 schedule posted.... this really is gonna be a down to the wire last minute schedule

this really reeks of "how do you do fellow young people?"

everyone's DVR will be screwed up.....I Don't get what the hold up is either they announce something else or they don't....i can't think of any shows that would be giving them so much trouble that it would be another last minute decision We Know they aren't getting DS S2 for a long time(if ever)and AOT Final Season Part 2 isn't coming this saturday so what could it be?

that doesn't mean they have to hate toonami and think them not getting DS S2 is karma for having S1 on lockdown... i highly doubt DS S2 isn't coming to toonami because they tried to boss around sony into doing another exclusive dub deal for the block and more so that the series became too popular to remain on toonami without paying out the ass

so we know AC S2 will be airing this saturday but aside from that...complete mystery the easy guess would be(I'm using my time zone for this which is central) 11:00 blade runner black lotus 11:30 AC S2 12:00 AC S2 12:30 Naruto Shippuden 1:00 Cowboy Bebop 1:30 Fena Pirate Princess 2:00 Dragon Ball Super if we don't hear anything soon then a double up premiere for the second season of assassination classroom seems likely i don't see them adding another rerun to the block upfront and Naruto isn't gonna be doubled up because they want show to last as long as possible on toonami demarco did say hopefully the schedule would normalize somewhat shortly after 1/8 so I'd like to think they could only get AC S2 right now and need to double up on that to buy time for the other show that could possibly premiere 1/15

that joke was never funny so please stop shoving That Peacemaker crap down our throats whenever talking about the schedule....you don't really want that on the schedule you are just saying that to be silly and weird... as for aew on toonami....no that would be as stupid as when Cartoon network went through the CN Real Phase

I'm saying people within the anime community need to get off toonami's back for this...how is that pessimistic? I'm not screaming "TOONAMI"S DOOMED! WAAAAAH! NOBODY LIKES THEM ANYMORE!" I'm merely just saying that far too many people in the online anime community hold a grudge against toonami for something they view as them being stupid and ignorant when that's nowhere close to being correct at least I'm not crazy enough to think Toonami's gonna be airing wrestling reruns in the near future like some people here are

one fan theory is that at first they could only afford the first half of the series and they were probably dealing with continuing budget problems in 2021 that kept them from getting the rest of it

it's just people trolling and thinking that the block is so desperate that we'll have AEW Reruns on the block soon

the act of snatching a dub for a series and having it exclusive to the block for a long time......I've noticed that now has resulted in many people online within the anime community having a special hatred for toonami because to them it was the worst thing they could have done and for anyone who doesn't have cable to them it was toonami giving them the middle finger Saying "Screw You!" so to them...toonami not getting DS S2 is a fantastic thing as they figured if they had gotten it then people without cable wouldn't have seen it for a year but does toonami really deserve all this rage and anger for something that's not only in the past(for the most part with few exceptions now)but is also something they did just to keep the block relevant? it wasn't out of malice and hatred for the anime community like some want to think it was it was just business and a cable tv block really needs a lot to keep people invested in when streaming exists

it is but as usual cable guides have place-holders for these kind of last minute decisions which is why we often see stuff like hours of american dad or hours of rick and morty instead of toonami on saturday night when a schedule change is at the last minute

just no more blade runner marathons....

doesn't mean demon slayer S2 will be on the block though that one seems to be locked away from toonami

It is but at the same time there's still more slots to fill and I'd have to know if the rest of 1/8 will be a marathon or not

true but it's such an old series that its events are old news at this point...toonami premiere or not it's gonna outlast everything on toonami because it's basically a time slot filler and background noise at this point that's why toonami never doubles it up

Shippuden won't even be on next week since it's lately another marathon

I'll Probably watch tonight but 1/8...nope knowing it'll probably be another black lotus marathon
